I have heard this is the case for many young people with or without degrees. Even with a graduate degree it took me 8 months to find a job after a lay-off. Unemployment benefits are a joke. Stay strong my friend and build your skill set!
for example, i have a certification in phlebotomy and it's been impossible to get a job without the experience. even though i paid $500 for the cert: every interview I have, I'm told that experience is required. but they already saw my application where I didn't list the experience, so they should already know that i'm new in this specific market (phlebotomy)! lol
@@sopretty43vr since my comment, I have an interview this week. I had to network with one of my friends who works at the hospital I’m trying to get into It’s all about who you know. Network network network. Pray for me that I get the job bro
I’m literally in the same position in Orlando moved here from California , been to a bunch of interviews and nothing . I called 3 restaurants yesterday , 2 of them said they only need waiters and the other said they are hiring for everything . So I’ll go in person and check those out .
you don’t realize it’s people who made it here before you who have your job lol i’m from fl and now everytime i end up at a new job it’s all people who just got here. even in higher positions.
@@BugattiBoy66 I was in an interview for a dishwasher position, and there was like 10 other people they had to interview on the whiteboard for the same job . That’s when I knew something was wrong . Competing with grown folk for a dishwasher job. Mind you I’m about to have my associate degree in IT . And I have around 2 years work experience .
Im in nj and its supper hard ive been on quite a few group interviews yet no luck its too competitive to find work and inflation i did research its only 12000 jobs created thats not enough for all these humans plus migrants who come into the country, minimum wage is 15.40 an hr jobs are hiring less workers and relying on technology and kiosk machienes as self service

I just had one of the best interviews of my life Monday, and just found out I didn’t get the job today.

I'm 24 and it's so hard to get a job. I live on the east coast and it's the same. Healthcare jobs are extremely hard to get

Any luck? I stay in Orlando to plenty of interviews, and no luck. Warehouses, restaurants, the whole 9. Nothing. Absolutely ridiculous

Makes me wonder what’s going to happen around the time all the experienced people stop retiring?
