When placing the lot, make sure to have the move objects cheat enabled, otherwise objects placed using the cheat may disappear, and you'll have an incomplete build. I'm aware of a current problem with tower/penthouse builds having misplaced objects. When I tested out placing the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw dormitories, some pillars and chandeliers spawned higher than they were supposed to be! Shouldn't be too much trouble. I wish EA would fix this. I tried to make every dormitory unique in its own way! I'm glad all 4 lots in Britechester were the same size, and two happened to be on the ground, perfect for underground common rooms, and two happened to be on a tower, perfect for the common rooms high in the air! And yes! Almost all the objects in each of the dormitories are functional!
I based the common rooms themselves on how the Floo Network's Witchcraft and Wizardry Adventure Map for Minecraft portrays them, plus some other sources to fill in the gaps. The Minecraft map includes a story, side quests, magical combat, and an open world of all of Hogwarts, the Wizarding, and Muggle worlds and more. It is FANTASTIC, and I highly recommend you go download it and explore for yourself.
