The key to your spare tire is on the key fob but you have to know about this. To release it you have to depress a tiny button on the side of the fob otherwise you might not know that it is there; leaving you with a harder time to access your spare.

The owners manual addresses all these, and more. It even explains why you didn't get the check back seat message. Just read the manual.

I’ve only had my 2019 RST since December and always learning new things about it. Recently found out that it has a turn signal warning if you leave it on too long. And also the turn signal flick lane change goes from 3 blinks to 5 or 6 when in tow mode.

@@user-gj8wo8lq9s I have a 2019 Silverado, and a 2018 Traverse... when you go into the vehicle settings it gives you the option to turn on or off the rear seat reminder. When set to on it will chime and flash a message on the dash telling you to check the rear seat when you turn the vehicle off and open the driver’s door. I’m guessing that’s why his didn’t remind him, because he didn’t open his door.
