I love your videos. So helpful. When my Husband and I arrived in Paris from London using the train, there wasn’t a taxi in sight. We looked ridiculous walking around the city pulling our luggage in tow. We flagged down a taxi driver who told us that we needed to go to A station where there you only could catch a taxi to your destination. We weren’t prepared for that. We just thought there would be many taxis at the train station when arriving. We also did a boo-boo and fell for one of those taxi drivers you mentioned that stand by the doors as you exit. This was in Rome. Everything went well but I Bet we paid more than with a yellow taxi and plus we went in style as it was a Mercedes. 😂 but… live and learn. 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Lucy. Good points regarding availability of taxis at train stations. Sometimes, in some smaller places especially, they're just not there. We've had the same experience. In some places, there'll be a rideshare service, like Uber or Bolt, than can help out. Otherwise, you might just have to try and find the phone number of a taxi service. Once in Bulgaria, before smartphones, we were lucky enough to get a ride from a local guy who took pity on us and volunteered to take us to where we wanted to go. Thanks for commenting.
Very useful. Nice to find a literate RUclips channel.
Thank you M & T. We appreciate your feedback.
I like to be at the airport early, I can totally entertain myself waiting for my flight and like to be chill.
You and Tanya are definitely on the same page.
