I march all 3 types, but I'm a cav main at heart. All my crits, iconic upgrades, and kvk gear is cav. But I wouldn't wait for cabs to work on Herman, especially if you already have ZL done. ZL/Herman is just too good of a march
same for me i got boudica max and ysg but i bach them using 1 archer marche which is zhuge max with herman 5551 bcs he dont need expertise for open field fight,now saving for cavs,if cavs going be bad or not need for field just going maybe,maybe max herman
I feel like the game saw how people were when zhuge came out and saw that people were confussed and some benched ysg. They gave us hermann Prime to be the best pair for him.
I don’t know if you said it and I missed it. But since Herman’s 20% defense debuff on the enemy is from his third skill and not his primary skill it stacks with Nevsky so and his poison stacks with Sargon and Boudica If you use Scipio and have a dagger on one of your marches as well.. you can get the following debuffs applied: -45%Health, -65% defense, and 110% more skill damage taken lol. I was looking at one of my reports and saw all them stacked at once and it was nuts lol

Rule is simple, if you want damage you use YSG if you want tankiness you use ZL. ZL YSG isnt the thing because of no march speed, if you get caught you will be sad faced in seconds. Not to mention it takes forever for them to get anywhere.
Just liked we talked I think the best decision for my account for now is to get hermann to 5551 and save 390 ghs for new cavs. If they are not that good I’ll start with my third March which is inf since ysg and zhuge are too similar to prioritise. Or maybe he needs to be added for his dps skills and health
Zhuge provides all damage debuff and he works at 5/5/1/1 better than ysg in my opinion. You have to use commanders to support your other marches as well as your team. Ysg is just damage and I’m sure can be over taken by zhuge missing out on zhuge is weird in my opinion especially if your comparing him to ysg
So I have Max Zhu liang max Herman. Max ysg and 5551 Boudicca currently running zhu+herman / Boudicca+ysg. Think Zhu Boudicca and Herman ysg is better for a 5 March?
You're missing a lot not investing in zhuge. I bet your sunset canyon and lost canyon ranking must be always at the bottom. Zhuge is a must! This guy is better than investing with huo as what ppl always said. Huo is overrated

Im not missing anything because I have Boudica YSG and my trades are still great 4-5:1 so I dont need to change anything. You also assume that everyone should have top 3 marches all the time but thats not the case for most players. Im using Scipio LC and Boudica YSG, currently hoarding heads for new cavs to invest. Even if I had spare GH for ZL Hermann I would skip them because Boudica YSG is still doing its job, I dont need to change them.

To this day, YSG has the strongest aoe in the game(2635). 2nd spot is LC 3rd ZL
Zhuge si still better you can’t count the YSG skill boost because if its with ZL it would make him the best

Honestly get Hermann to 5511 and then get Zhuhe to a decent level and then complete your Hermann back to 5551
