  • In this video, I'm fishing as I normally do when targeting corbina and croaker with sand crabs and a carolina rig. We use a light tackle set up featuring an 8'6" rod and a 4000 series reel with 15 pound test and a size 2 mosquito hook. Check out the links below for more details.

Good to hear. I fished north Enci a couple of weeks ago and it was a mess. All sand was gone. Water was trashed. Glad someone is having some luck.

Nic catches… can’t wait for all this rain to pass although I’m thankful we received it…
I hooked something that ran immediate drag on my 20# set up, I tried to slow it by slightly tightening up but it popped 😢💔…..
So ready to get back out

They’ve definitely started showing up. This is from last fall but I’ve seen them from LJ to Carlsbad hit or miss so far. Sometimes small sometimes even too big already.

Ahhhh from last fall. That makes sense. The beaches and surf haven’t looked like this since before the storms.

I’m interested in someone showing me the ropes here in North County San Diego! Was out all day today with nothing to show for it! I sport boat fish mostly but want to get more into surf fishing.

Found your channel on filleting. What tides do you fish for surf fishing? Nice catches cant wait till summer come. Those bone fishes fight like crazy

I fish all tides in different scenarios with different styles. Best advice is to check out my website and read a lot hahah.
      Glad you found the content!

How much weight do you use typically? Also, do lug worms work?

1 oz. And yes they do. Sandcrabs are just cheaper and better
