he likes childrens food.. and mcdonalds its really weird.. he is a grown ass man that like cheap bolognese, chicken nuggets and fries.. it really weirds me out .. i love him and his vids. but i have a feeling he has never had actual good food before

great video as always, Mike. love the week-ons, please consider an ASDA week-on re-visit, and if you do then please give their tinned Vindaloo a try - they are fantastic, and usually about 95p to £1.29 or thereabouts. hopefully you can get them in your local ASDA. if not i will send you one! (if that's within the rules, lol).
i have them all the time, the chicken in them is great and a nice sauce too. not quite hot enough for me but some chilli powder sorts that out :)
Oven chips are always pale and it’s driving me potty shake the tray Mike! Shake the tray!!!!
yeah shake the tray and i would even leave them in for longer than suggested till they are crispy to my liking.. Mike tends to cook stuff to the absolute tee specified in the instructions and it drives me nuts.. use common sense leave longer if needed

Lately I've been doing much of my shopping online from Iceland, I never used to do online grocery shopping until the whole situation occurred. What I found nice about them as that they always have a free next day delivery available for me while Asda and Tesco say they only have delivery slots available the next week! It's a pity their food range isn't larger though, because otherwise I wouldn't bother going to asda and such for the rest of the goods.

Icelands Butter Chicken curry is very nice. I get it quite often, along with their Pilau rice

That banana flavor is not really that much of a fake. It was created to mimic the style of banana that died out mid last century. The event was called "Panama disease", check out the Wikipedia. The flavor is good I must agree :)
It actually didn't totally kill off the Gros Michel banana, just enough that growers couldn't keep up with the supply. There's efforts now to breed strains of it that are resistant to disease, especially since the Cavendish banana (the most common cultivar now) is threatened by Panama Disease.

Was totally expecting a new top tier patreon called Mr I. Celand. But seriously I have noticed an improvement to some of the products. I admit I'm no stranger to the red shop front. Nice to see you picking some of my favourites you should have tried the cauliflower cheese. Have to say though cooking in the oven improves most of their meals over using the dreaded popity ping..

As far as Iceland Currys go I've had the scarily spicy Chinese curry and that wasn't spicy one bit the most spicy curry I've had there was the Carolina Reaper one.

The Carolina reaper chicken nuggets were really good too, kinda spike that makes your eyelids sweat in the best way 😙👌🌶

Darkfang Nightcrow I'll try the sausages next if I can find them. not a fan of the original fire noodles, not worth the pain for that weird sweet flavour, but the other fire flavours of noodle and tteokbokki they do like the carbonara one are soooo fhukin good 😋🍜

Don't know if you've done it before but as a lifelong vegetarian I'd love to see a week eating only supermarket vegetarian options!! Maybe a different shop each day to try a wide range of products? I'm kinda sick of people doing vegan challenges as they miss out on such a huge range of great stuff!

I’m a Korma lady myself,to much spice isn’t something I enjoy. Was thinking the breakfast muffin should include sauce,bap looked nice and didn’t look to much of a letdown. Anything chicken related I approve,that chicken looked so delicious. Basil as always looks beautiful laying in the sun. 😇😎

How do you even cook fried chicken in the oven and have it crisp up?
Food engineering! Lots of trial and error, also most of the stuff is extremely fatty, which helps reaching a certain crispification (lol) when baking

It's popcorn chicken. The UK might have some regulation of what can be called popcorn so they used a different name.
