Thumbs up!!! I bought a brand new 2004. And still have it. Gets good milage. I have 230,000 miles on it. Over the years I may have spent $5000 on repairs. I just had to replace the cluster. Of course they don't make them so the mechanic got off another car. They call it midnite blue and has the spoiler. It's very sharp. I've had a Lot of complements on it. Good luck. Success is headed your way. You will make a Lot of money. Stay sweet.
If anyone takes their PT to get lined up and they tell you they can't dont forget to ask them why that was my mistake they did not tell me the engine cradle had rusted away that the front suspension is bolted to.I bought a replacement at the salvage yard and welded plate steel in all the weak areas the factory skimped on and painted it with POR 15 RUST PROOF PAINT before it was installed 100k miles later it looks as good as the day it was installed. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
I seen this add on Facebook the other day from the company that you bought headlights from for the red pt. They used your RUclips clip installing them iimmediately recognized your car.
With 213 k miles on my PT I would buy another just because they look like all the cars I love from the past like a 37 ford or a Anglia or fiat topolino gasser they just have that HOT Rod look. They are easy to fix but about the only thing you cant do yourself is change the timing belt because it takes a special tool. And like NY Ohio rust will eat things my upper rear shock mounts rusted away which put the shock up by my tire I had to collapse it to get it home.
Good deal !! Congratulations! I have one 2007 pt cruiser manual transmission and coming with spoiler , Crome details and weels. The only bad thing is the clutch sistem coming all together but I buy the SRT clutch stage 2 for it and resolve that problem so is a good option for your future projects. By the way.... manual transmission is better in the Snow!!!;)) let me know where for send photos..
Wanna buy my 08 LX? 135k no rust, Engine resurfacd, new valves and seals, new timing belt, water pump and center mount done at 112k and all suspension has been done (minus the rear shocks) and all motor mounts new and adjusted. Mine came from Tennessee in 2016 last I knew. lol. I'm looking to get rid of mine come spring (It's in storage right now) and buying a small SUV. Plus, we're both in NY. lol. No CEL and the Camshaft Sensor and throttle position sensor and battery are all new as well. However, Yeah, I cant go as low on the price as the guy you bought that PT from. lol. But, Still got a few months until spring so I may change my mind, idk. Time will tell.
Congrats on your newest acquisition! Nice looking Cruiser. Being from Texas myself, I would be curious to know where in Texas it came from. Plenty of them still going strong down here. I bet this color would work well with the wood-trim kit!
Keep me posted . I'm Having P0344 code issues on mine. I changed the crank and cam shaft sensors with new oem parts and still have issues. You got a great deal and since you love working on cars i'm sure you'll reach your goal. Good honest mechanics are hard to find.
Hallo. I am living in Holland. I can buy a Pt cruiser 2.0 liter from 2004 with leather seats and cruise control. Can i upgrade this engine with a turbo later? Because the 2.4 has not so good fuel economy and is heavier. I am waiting for your advise. I want more power but with good fuel economy like the modern cars.
Wow! A rust free car from Buffalo?? How is that possible? Well, it's probably a southern car that got driven/transported to NY. 126,000 miles, DTCs and the body damage ... that's why you got it for a song. I like PT Cruisers and so do you and your fans. Unfortunately, the general car buying public doesn't feel the same way and I speak from direct experience.
I follow your channel. I've had and flipped over 20 pt cruisers. I'm am considered a pt expert. Your channel could use more content on overall repairs on pts... not just yours. You never talk about common issues or repair tips. I would like to make a few videos and add them to your channel. Could I do that? You might have to edit them...
I got the turbo convertable touring edition 2 door pt cruiser its gold and looks like a bathtub on wheels lol drives nice.

I’m pretty sure it was based on a Chrysler airflow which i really like. I’m most fond of the 1934 airflow but that’s just my opinion.

Hey, keep us posted on the p0340 code. That's a real problem with a lot of pt cruisers
I definitely will! I've been wanting to make a video on that for quite some time
@@jimmycruiserr thanks for the responds.most p03r0 codes are caused by a misfire.... maybe that's what's causing the limp mode
My shift solonoide went out and fried my tipm, please hlep
