Shillong over the years has witnessed a sweeping trend in street style fashion, especially among college students.
Most of them curate outfits by themselves, having drawn inspiration from various sources.
As one takes a stroll in the streets of Laitumkhrah or Dhankheti, the neighborhood around its vicinity, and even in Khyndai Lad, street style seems to have found its way into the nooks and corners of Shillong.
Like every city has its distinctive street style, let us also define Shillong’s.

But running after fashion with empty pocket,it was shameful,our state is not bollywood or Hollywood.This ruined the imaged of any girls.

But also being influence and taking over others culture and make it our whole personality is a whole polar opposite reason, so just be who u are n dress how you want without forgetting your roots, culture, value and dignity as a woman or as a man and for the accent thing it's just immature for us to define others ability in that native language as English is not our mother tongue and for anyone to judge them based on this is contradictory to what's their opinion is about when it comes to fashion sense and style like come on you want them to sound as British or as American as they speak a native language but when it comes to style you don't want them to get influence by others culture like basically it's a whole damn double standards😂😂😂 Respect others and others will respect you.
