No worries Frenchy!..from what I have seen you in your videos you live your life like it is Church everyday. Jesus said, 'the greatest commandment is to love your God and to love your neighbor as yourself.' I always loved Victor Hugo's 'Les Miserables', as it had some great lessons for us all. And I believe you got that message! A lot of people go to church every day and still do not get the message. Just for others who don't know what Jadoh (meat rice) is; It's like biriyani of local Shillong, however the process of making it is different. You'll not find meat in it. Mostly Jadoh is made with the blood of meat especially beef or pork there are some shops who does not use noon veg products at all. So when anyone wants to taste it ask specially which ingredients are used in it. The best Jadoh I found was opposite to Nimhans hospital where you get several side dish both veg and non veg and several local herbs for salad which are found only in North eastern part of India and other Asian countries like Korea, Japan, Viatnam and China. FYI the ghost chilli (Bhoot Jolokiya) in the Shillong market is not the pure one. I bought it once and trust me it taste different than the one from Assam. The actual one you will get is in Assam as it originates from there on a particular season like summer and particular area. It requires particular soil, water and weather which is found there. Same goes for the local vegitables or fruits from Shillong if you try to grow in different area with a different climate the original taste, looks and size would change. And please don't call it ghost chilli anymore we got the Patten as the original name Bhoot Jolokiya. It ranks now 4th hottest chilli in the world now and the 2nd in Asia the first in Asia is Naga morich from Nagaland. The hottest in the world is Carolina reaper from South Carolina from USA. They took Asian chillies and made a hybrid.

@@Dangermonkey1000 their is always positive and negative but you choose to look upon the negative only, but the positive side of Shillong is much much greater and higher then the negative. Whatever is happening is due to the politician they mislead the tribe into thinking that we are their enemies so it is our duty now to prove them wrong and forward a friendly shake hand. Shillong is pure heaven and people living there are pure Angels by heart just few of them are demons. Even in our Hindu community their are demonic people who took advantage of the tribal peoples kindness in the first place during 90's. Hey Frenchy, if you do some drone shots in Police Bazaar it will come up with cool results. It'll look like an octopus. P.S. evening time or when it's less people, is more beautiful. Oh and that mesmerizing Cathedral too!
It is sad to see lots of poor people in India. The reality is India is not of poor country. In Mumbai, I was shocked to see ordinary flats for sale that are more expensive than a house in the US. And Mumbai is a big city. One of the richest people, the Ambanis, owns his 1 billion dollar house. But I don't understand why he would want to have a view of the largest slum from his balcony? I would feel bad looking at all those poor people and I am living in opulent and excessive wealth. Maybe it is the Catholic in me, to always feel guilty. lol
India is poor country bro... It is a harsh reality and situation is getting worse... Almost 84 crore people use the free ration scheme during covid. It means more than 50% people can't afford food on their own. And if you earn 17 lakhs per year then you are in top 1% of richest people in India.
French but with a British accent. Nice to watch this video by a french man from the most visited country in the world known for its elegance fashion style cuisine and champagne cognac. Should have tried some Khasi wine.
I had the same issue when I visited some of the churches in Goa. I made a nice donation at the entrance to the church and the security guard came running up to me to stop me from taking pictures. The thing is that there was no service going on in the church at the time, so I don't understand it. It was empty and I was quiet and respectful. I don't know why they do that?. If a service is going on or some people are praying I would not take out pictures. I wanted to ask for my donation back - just kidding! Over here, the churches have a sign in the front which tell you the times of the day, when picture taking and video is forbidden. So, apart from those times, one is allowed to take pictures. But in India it is completely forbidden all the time?? And some of the churches in Goa have good christian artwork to be admired??
That's for security reasons. India has had a history of terrorist attacks - Akshardham Temple, Parliament, Mumbai Attacks and the blueprint of the attacks were preplanned by 'tourists' who had videographed everything. That's the reason why videography is prohibited in a lot public places in India.
These videos r at least 10 days late but I agree, I hope he visited Dawki before returning 2 Ghy. As opposed 2 d Waterfalls & other locations in Meghalaya, winter is d perfect time 2 visit Dawki river when it's crystal clear & stunning.

The Church is the oldest in North East India and is earthquake proof and have not been to church for a long time too . Hope to meet next time!!! Regards to your Mum. Anyways St. POPEJOHN PAUL visited Shillong at Golf Links In 1986 .
Nongsawlia Presbyterian Church in Sohra is older than this church
Guess you didn't go to Ward's lake. It is less than 5 mins walking distance from Police bazaar. It's where you will find the cherry trees, beautifully maintain place.
Hey Frenchy! Am watching ENG vrs FRA right now. May the best team win. But i am an Argentina and Messi fan. Goodluck .😃🇦🇷♥️👍

Hey Frenchy, if you do some drone shots in Police Bazaar it will come up with cool results. It'll look like an octopus. P.S. evening time or when it's less people, is more beautiful.
Oh and that mesmerizing Cathedral too!
Great one sir. Hats off to you😍😍😍😍😍😍 Welcome to Meghalaya ❤️
It is strange. Privileged Indians have developed "city eyes" that enable them to make the poverty invisible. They pretend it doesn't exist.
Im proud tobe a khasi (Meghalaya) ❤
the vlog was super and the places are amazing.. and the help you given to that kid was definitely great...God bless you for that.

Looks So delicious man 😋
Handsome youtuber 😍 welcome to Meghalaya
You are so kind brother..... May you keep up with the good work... God bless u more
You're a good food blogger also all the best 👍
U should visit Dawki...U will regret if u miss it...a must place to visit
These videos r at least 10 days late but I agree, I hope he visited Dawki before returning 2 Ghy. As opposed 2 d Waterfalls & other locations in Meghalaya, winter is d perfect time 2 visit Dawki river when it's crystal clear & stunning.
