All of the characters bring an endearing quality. The scenery is beautiful and the food looks delicious !!!!!

It is THE very best for me. I got the PBS passport so i could watch it. The 9th season is included.

I only just found this on Amazon Prime and subscribed to PBS Masterpiece to continue the series. Obsessed with this wonderful series! I am in love with Fie, Edith, Otilia, Martha and Mrs. Anderson! What a lovely idyllic hotel! The reviews that I've read fail to mention the gorgeous beach settings and the delectable foods presented on the show.
Yes, food is wonderful. we stayed two years ago, we're going again next year, all booked up.

The light in Northern Jutland, where the show takes place, is very very special. I am not particularly religious at all; but the quality of the light up there makes one feel a sense of the divine presence. My Danish wife and I used to vacation up there regularly about fifteen years back. A group of artists called the Skagen Painters at the turn of the twentieth century are very famous in Denmark and they were attracted by this special light up around Skagen and nearby. The Skagen Painters painted a lot of motifs of the local area and tried to capture the special qualities of the light in their work.
I love this series...fun characters....I’ve seen all through Season 4. Trying to find Season 5. Delightful

PBS masterpiece has it on now thru season 5...love the last episode..but found out there are 2 more seasons but I have not found where we can watch them with English subtitles
This is one of rhe greatest xomedies I have ever seen. Sorry, but reruns just don't cut it. I need a season 6 fix!!

Be nice if Walter Presents would reply re when they are going to be putting up the rest of the series from 3 onwards? They are on season 8 in Denmark!!!
It would be nice if they have a notice on programmes advising when they will soon expire like Sky and BBC.
This is a fabulous series which I have been watching on Walter Presents Ch 4 , but it has stopped at series 6 ! .....When will we be able to watch the rest of the series up to series 10?
