As a FA, I travel with most things you shared on this vid, but one thing I absolutely CANNOT be without is Saniwipes for the hotel stay. When I get into my room, I have to wipe down all the light switches & all things I must touch during my stay.
Great list!! I always travel with a scented garbage bag to use as a laundry bag. It helps keep my dirty clothes separate from my clean clothes so there’s no confusion, and the scent helps a ton in the small space of my suitcase.
I can't travel without my Rosary. It's a must, and I pray it before bed. I have two cousins that are flight attendants. They love every minute of the job. I always keep my seatbelt fastened, I read the safety card, and always pay close attention to the safety demo. Safe travels to all. 😊
My old list of absolute carry-on must haves: my electronics (laptop, Kindle, phone, plus their cords & chargers), medication (prescription & OTC), a nail file & cuticle nippers (because I always seem to snag a nail or cuticle while traveling), several band-aids (because the snagged cuticle ALWAYS seems to bleed!), lens cloth and TSA-sized bottle of lens cleaning solution for my glasses, hand lotion, and lip balm. IF (and that's a BIG IF) I'm wearing makeup, I'll also include a compact and lipstick - all other makeup goes in my luggage. And I always check luggage because I'm always dragging my laptop through the airport. LOL! However, after watching so many flight attendant videos and following PassengerShaming, I now have to add hand sanitizer and some sort of wipes to my carry-on travel must haves.
receipt paper works for blotting too!! I'm a stewardess my must-haves are a reusable shopping bag, my design go luggage clip pouch or the eagle creek bra money clip(it's a money clip that you can hide on your person I use it when I'm going to the beach or somewhere I don't want to lug a bag with me.) our lounges have showers so when I commute I can shower so I have a microfiber towel from wise owl outfitters that are quick-drying and doubles as a beach towel. I also have my tessan cube power strip with 3usb ports and 3 100-250v power wall insert thingies. its a 5 ft extension and is amazing if the plug is a hundred feet away or if only one plugin your hotel is working and its surge protected!!. you can also use it with an international converter I have a few but my favorite is ceptics world travel on because the prongs are not spring loaded and it's very sturdy and won't fall out have 2 USB and two wall ports that are 100-250v and it will tell you the voltage! witch is amazing because not all plugs are created equal and you don't want to burn out your laptop or hair straightener. or freak out because it's not working because it's not getting enough power. (all of these are on Amazon!) last but not least I always have a shawl that doubles as a blanket a blowup neck pillow eye mask and reusable water bottle.
My most important personal item travel essentials are my prescription meds. My fave must haves are my neck pillow by the brand “Lug” and my iPad. The Lug brand is the best I’ve ever used for carry on, personal items, organizers and purses of all types. They will change your life, I’ve got over 30 of their bags and there’s a whole group that collects them called “Lugnuts”. Lol I love the Steamboat, Via Travel, Via 2 and the Avion the best for travel. They even have belt bags and lunch coolers, plus some of the bags I named switch from tote to crossbody to a backpack with hidden pocket the straps are tucked into. All bags are light inside (and in fun prints) so you can see inside and the organization is insane! The purse I’m carrying daily this week switches from shoulder to backpack with a pull of the strap and it has a hidden zip insulated pocket on the side for snacks, water etc. I sound like a commercial, but they are that good! Ps I don’t work for them or get any compensation, just love them. Thanks for your great video!
I can’t travel without my little fan. I get hot and need some air when I sleep. It also provides some white noise. Mine is a little bigger than the one you showed and has. Flat bottom so it can set up on a nightstand.
Hi Lindsey, I always travel with a small change purse full of singles as they always come in handy for tips, etc. I also carry my serenity prayer charm and several bars of Dove chocolate for the flight staff. Lastly- gotta have my neck pillow!
Carryon with all my essentials- meds, power bank, iPad, iPhone, headphones, makeup, and emergency/ first aid kit. Love love love to watch your videos!💜
I travel a lot for work and my cannot do without item is my phone! It has my Netflix on it, my travel details, my books, music! Everything is on it.... ❤️
When traveling my items are Disinfectant Wipes to wipe armrest & tray area on plane & wipe down areas in my Hotel room, Travel Flash Light & Neck Pillow. Always a Tumbler/Water bottle Loved this video great tips & reminders especially the fan
Love the bags you use so need to get new ones for my next flight to Vegas in Sept & Oct on Spirit & Frontier. Hope I meet an FA U or Hunter may know. I tell everyone about Your You Tube & IG. (I'm not a FA)
Love your video haha I also use the toilet seat covers as blotting sheets they are the best, you can blot your whole face at once. I cannot travel without a pouch that I carry my herbal teas granola bars sweeteners , crystal light and protein powder.
As a flight attendant, one thing I can not leave without is my skincare essentials! Face wash, toner, serum and my moisturizer. Can you please do a video on commuting tips? I'm still new to this commuting thing. :)
I never board the plane without a filled water bottle because some times you don't get service on the plane due to turbulence or you have to wait on the hot tarmac. Other non-essentials are my iphone, ear buds and charger, lip balm and clorox wipes.
Love love that tote. I ended up buying the luggage works cooler tote from one of your videos and it’s almost at the end of its life. I too left msp and moved to DC. I travel often to my parents house near Orlando and feel your pain commuting....are you loving Orlando? Thanks for always having entertaining videos and posts. Maybe one day we’ll pass on an airport. 😁
Very informative, I need to up my travel game and keep that stuff with me. I like the IPAD idea the best, for inflight and pre or post fight entertainment as well ! Keep up the great work !!! ✈️✈️
I can’t travel without my iPad. Makes longer flights go by so much faster. Also extra sunglasses are a must have for me. I always travel with cheaper sunglasses that it’s not big deal if they get lost! Great video as always
I absolutely love the fact that you use tiger balm! That is something that I cannot go anywhere or do anything without! Having gun MMA, I can honestly say that it is a lifesaver.
I should also add the breathe stick from doterra too. It is like an all natural vicks. Great for opening sinuses. I gave one to practically everyone I know for Christmas last year.
Love watching your vlogs! waiting to hear from the company I got my CJO with when training is! I seriously can. not. wait! So all these kinds of vlogs are also super helpful in thinking of what I might need for when I start. But for what I need no matter what when traveling is definitely head phones... and my own snacks.... and of course water. but headphones for sure!
Girl I love you so much! You are awesome! I watch you every night before bed. The thing I cannot travel without is my teddy bear which I have had since I was one years old.
Benadryl! Changing climates constantly while traveling drives my allergies crazy, so it’s nice to have on hand. I can take it when I get to my hotel and it clears my airways and helps me sleep more soundly so I don’t wake up super groggy. Also hotel rooms can be really dusty so it helps alleviate any allergies from that as well!
ALWAYS travel with Saje Peppermint Halo rollerball... It is an essential oil remedy. Helps with congestion for sleep, helps with headache pain and tension also AMAZING when you wake up with a kink in your neck from the random hotel pillows!!! Relaxed the muscle and all set for a 4 leg day!
Reusable water bottle because I can put away some water. Also a luggage lock because I don't want anyone getting any ideas. Mine has the flexible part so I can loop it however I want. Love it!
MacBook and a good pair of headphones. The MacBook serves as my layover entertainment system and and I also use it heavily for work when I am hanging out with musician friends in the states!
My favorite travel essential I cannot live without are my AirPods, and Ebags Crew Cooler! Future FA waiting on training dates! Love your videos Lindsey!
Really enjoyed watching this video! There are so many things I bring every time I fly... a warm blanket, hooded shirt or sweater, water bottle, snacks, pen & paper, a book or new download for my kindle, pajama bottoms, slippers, and oodles more. I always try to carry a little currency of the country I'm traveling to, so I can get a cup of coffee right away once we land. ❤
Great video! I'm just curious, do you get to choose your own purse/tote when you are working? It just got me thinking since my airline has specific handbags that are part of our uniform and they don't allow us to use our own handbags. It's so interesting how things are different for every airline. The dry-wash spray sounds awesome, I'll have to pick on of those up the next time I'm at target. Btw my favorite travel essential is my Origins moisturizer 'cause the air is sooo dry inside of an airplane (but you obviously know that lol).
Aww thank you!!! Okay! So I just saw a big bottle of that at tjmaxx today. Almost bought it bc it’s aesthetically pleasing, but then I thought... is it worth it?
Thanks for all the awesome ideas! Now my amazon cart is full of goodies! I’m currently in FA training so this was extremely helpful! I cannot travel without my headphones! TFS!🙏🏼💜🙏🏼
You didn’t say where you got the items from. Where’s the bag from ? Please post links for items in the description next time like Carrie Ann Dejong does.

I can not travel without makeup wipes! I get so grossed out &frustrated not being able to properly take off all my makeup (water &soap can only do so much) . Another great video like always Lindsey! 💕

I have to travel with my silk pillow case! When I’m in crew rest my hair doesn’t get frizzy anymore 👌🏻

My most favorite travel essential is my sketch book and markers. I create my best art when traveling.

I can't travel without my packing cubes. It's a must have for me to stay organise while traveling.
I just wish I liked them! I can’t get into the habit of them 😳
Packing cubes take up a lot of space. Only good for short trips or for those who travel with a ton of luggage.
Love my reusable straw and silverware set!
My travel essential is my packing cubes. Makes things more organized. Also, on long flights, I like to take my DVD player and watch my own movies.
Ahhhh I wish I could love packing cubes!
I can’t travel without my little fan. I get hot and need some air when I sleep. It also provides some white noise. Mine is a little bigger than the one you showed and has. Flat bottom so it can set up on a nightstand.
My travel essential is my Kindle paper white! I’m an avid reader, makes the flight go by more quickly.
A small notepad and a pen for journaling or making lists...and my phone which I charge when I can so gotta have the cord. And a jacket.
Love the pen too for international flights!!! #paperwork!
Mac Book and Ear buds are a must when I travel
Same!!!
Hi Lindsey, I always travel with a small change purse full of singles as they always come in handy for tips, etc. I also carry my serenity prayer charm and several bars of Dove chocolate for the flight staff. Lastly- gotta have my neck pillow!

I cannot live/ travel without Lysol and purell wipes! This is great because we will be traveling soon and I’m in search of a great bag.
I love watching your videos. My go to travel items are my power bank and baby wipes. They work for literally everything!
I travel a lot for work and my cannot do without item is my phone! It has my Netflix on it, my travel details, my books, music! Everything is on it.... ❤️

Packing cubes, water bottle and certs.
Lysol wipes to wipe down tray on plane and hotel room.
It’s a must!
I have to travel with my travel blanket, since I always get cold on the plane. It’s super compact and light but it keeps me so cozy.☺️
So do you basically use the tote as your purse?
A must have when I travel is my portable charger to charge my phone when I’m on the plane or when I can’t find a charging station in the airport.
My favorite travel essentials, Flip flops a long cardigan , downloaded movies lots of snacks..lol
Literally me 😂😂
Love your video haha I also use the toilet seat covers as blotting sheets they are the best, you can blot your whole face at once. I cannot travel without a pouch that I carry my herbal teas granola bars sweeteners , crystal light and protein powder.

My own snacks are a must, my iPad with movies downloaded and headphones! Live you’re videos.
Of course snacks!!!
I never board the plane without a filled water bottle because some times you don't get service on the plane due to turbulence or you have to wait on the hot tarmac. Other non-essentials are my iphone, ear buds and charger, lip balm and clorox wipes.
My must have travel essential is my phone charging case. I use it only when I’m traveling and it’s a lifesaver!
Hi! I enjoy your videos! My most packed travel item is my phone charger. I try to take a backup battery too for long days.
I can't travel without a portable charger! It makes such a difference having one and not having to search for a place to charge my phone if needed.
Yes! We have a company issued one. Great for emergencies!!!!
Love love that tote. I ended up buying the luggage works cooler tote from one of your videos and it’s almost at the end of its life. I too left msp and moved to DC. The best thing to carry I think!!!!
I would want my water bottle ,and lysol wipes to wipe down tray table and cabin room .
I can’t travel without my iPad. Makes longer flights go by so much faster. Also extra sunglasses are a must have for me. I always travel with cheaper sunglasses that it’s not big deal if they get lost! Great video as always

Doterra deep blue oil, my O2 cool neck fan, portable charger and my tablet. I cant just pick one lol
What is the oil?! Fill me in!!!!
@@TrolleyDolly91 it's kind of like tiger balm. Good for sore muscles. It's magic. I use the oil but it also comes in cream.
I should also add the breathe stick from doterra too. It is like an all natural vicks. Great for opening sinuses. I gave one to practically everyone I know for Christmas last year.
