Hello Happy Travelers!!
Welcome to our grand 10th anniversary trip! For the first time, we are traveling to Europe, and we are checking several bucket list items along the way! We are starting in Rome Italy, followed by a 9 night Mediterranean/Greek Isles Cruise onboard Odyssey of the Seas, and finishing in France to visit Disneyland Paris!
Today’s port of call is Santorini Greece! Known for their beautiful white buildings with blue domed roofs sitting on top of the cliffs, this was one of the ports we were most excited for! After a ride on the North Star to get the birds eye view, we hopped on a tender boat, and then rode the cable car to the top of the cliff! From there, we explored on our own finding cats, spotting landmarks, utilizing the bus system, and taking in all the beauty of Santorini!

Beautiful Santorini. It was a lovely stop. And I remember those cable cars The line does move very swiftly FYI they weighed us for the North Star on the anthem. Glad you enjoyed it and were able to see some kitties 😍. Also glad you were able to retrieve your 🕶️

Great video!! I wanted to know how long you spent in Fira and Oia did you feel you had enough time to see everything with taking the bus and cable car back and forth. I am traveling 2024 Odyssey of the seas in September and we dock I think 8 am to 8pm. Thank you.

The only thing we missed was your video didn’t show your meals that day. Did you eat on the island at all? What did you have on the ship? I know it’s silly but my wife and I really enjoy the videos of your meals.

Santorini and Mzkonos are beautiful but they have been over hyped by TV and cruise ships...a little bit like you can-t even move in say a place like Dubrovnik because of the cruise ship traffic. I seriously recommend that zou experience Northern Greece (Chalkidiki and the three fingers). It is viewed as a cheaper tourist spot, but it is seriouslz one of the most beautiful places in the world. Mt. Athos and the monastic state within Greece is there. It is the third finger (peninsula). The second and first fingers have much more developed tourism and NO CRUISE SHIPS! The city of Thessalonika has a number of interesting sites. You need to see the real Greece!

Hi! It really depends on what kind of vacation you would like. If you want to stay in one location and explore particular areas over several days than a cruise wouldn't be the best option, but if you want to see a vast amount of locations in a set amount of time a cruise is the best option!
