A city that does not change is one that is stagnant. It is not there are now less recording studios in Nashville.Studios, producers and musicians will choose whatever location is best for them. I am given to understand that Berry Hill now has more studios than Music Row, probably because of cost considerations. Hence, hits are still being made and history is still being made just not on the "subscribed" street. I don't hear anyone lamenting that the 1830's Vauxhall Gardens is now occupied by the JW Marriot and Westin Hotels. It was once the center of Nashville social life.

Sad if everything goes away. So much history. Maybe Nashville is becoming too much like other cities.
