This is a velvet soft baby blanket that resembles hearts with the use of bobbles. With a solid background, the hearts can be different each time or maybe you prefer the consistency of colour. This is the Crochet Heart Stripe Baby Blanket pattern.
You can substitute with other yarns as long as the ball label matches the hook you will use.

Just came across your channel and the pointer with the turn is brilliant and shows for a beginner like myself to really look at alternatives that pro’s as yourself have figured out. This blanket is perfect timing for a little one. Thank you.

I was so happy when I found this! But unfortunately my little hearts end up looking more like little butts 😅😅😅😢😢😢

Maybe you should turn it upside down 😄😇😊 Sorry for that.

That's because the pattern is different from the video - the pattern's description of the heart bobbles is this:
(Yo, pull through the stitch, yo, pull through 2 threads) 3 times (4 threads left on hook), yo, pull through all 4 threads.
This makes each of the hearts more like a set of double crochets, so it's much taller. Plus, you're not only pulling through the front loop like the person does in the video, making them flare out better.

This is Annie with a question. When you turn your work, you turn so the working yarn is in front. I’ve always done the opposite. Does this make any difference?
Thanks for the insight & the revised pattern. This is perfect for 18” doll bedding. You’ve gotten into miniatures, I’m now into doll stuff. 🤣

I don't think it makes a difference as long as you are consistent with it. The miniature stuff is a lot of fun.

We were doing a clean up here at home purging stuff, it gave the illusion we were moving. I love a good purge.

Their/his house is like a museum with a garden full of nature, isn't it?
