I think of being a left-handed drummer on a right-handed kit is a blessing. One of the most well-known drummers of all time, Ringo Starr of The Beatles, plays exactly the same way. Although he forces himself to play cross-handed on a right-handed kit, his fills are still led by his left hand, which contributes to a distinctive style. I've thought of ways to correct my style in my earlier years, but I figured I'd just go with what I do, adapt to anything I can, and create my own style of sorts.
2024, the best cover of this song. You had to be your own unique band, based on such good vocals.

That drummer is absolutely insane. Clearly left hand dominant but managed to play perfectly on a right handed set. Whole band is absolutely mind blowing. I’m beyond impressed! 💯

Thanks. I never had problems with tom rolls and such myself. If you want to look back into rock history, look at Ringo Starr, who was the drummer for The Beatles.
