Posca colored pencils- test and comparison to the Holbein colored pencils

I already knew that I will like these colored pencils but now that I know how similar they are to the Holbein colored pencils and that they cost just one third of the Holbein pencil (at least in my country) I like them even more :D

I love these pencils. Rich pigmentation, perfect level of softness, quality build, and my goodness, I have *never* used another color pencil that layers so extremely well.

I found some interesting information about the Posca Pencil online.
Apparently this set is not sold in Japan, despite being made in Japan itself.
It is speculated among the Japanese that this Posca Pencil might be a rebrand of another discontinued line of coloured pencil also manufactured by Uni Mitsubishi called "Uni Pericia".
I found a blog of someone who have both sets, which they have reviewed to be the same pencils.
So Japanese fans of Uni Pericia want to get their hands on Posca Pencil, even if they would have to import it 😂
