What paper is good for posca coloured pencils
I bought this same set on October 2019 and they are really great. As Claire says, the final texture is as Prismacolors Premiere but easier to blend and the pigments are quite strong. No disappointments or complaints about these Posca colored pencils and I hope more shades will be available soon.
You have become one of my enablers. 😉 After seeing the coloring page you did with these, I pushed the buy button on Blick’s website. I can't wait get them in my hands.
Beautiful, fun, and professional review. Thank you Claire ☺️
Once again a great review. Thank you Claire❤
Would be interesting to see how much they sell for in Japan.
I have been waiting for these to come out! Glad you were able to review them.
If you really like POSca I reccomend Molotow markers :) They come in more colors
I love these pencils so much, i got a few in an art box last week and they are already my favorite pencils, their soooo expensive tho, but i really do think they are worth the price, i hope to get the full set one day
These seem really awesome! Going to have to try them for sure!
Claire - very thorough !!! Are these pencils 'archival'??. I mean acid free, are they OL to use on artwork to sell in an art gallery?
I sure did enjoy the review! Your always give all the details I'm looking for. Thank you.
I love to color. Love to do art work. Between the expense of great books and pencils these days, I'd be better off doodling in the sand. 114.00 at Joann. 64 bucks at dick blick. That's crazy! Nice review but I will pass.
I bought a few of these to try out. Thanks for swatching them out. The whole set costs a little to much for me but after seeing your swatches, I might end up with a few more.
Thanks for the review Claire. The coloring page you did with the Posca pencils looks amazing. I'm definitely picking those up. Luckily there's a Dick Blick in my neighborhood!
Awesome review! Thanks!
These look lovely. Thanks for the review. 🎨
Oooh! These look right up my alley, aside from the lack of purples :'( Have you tried using them with other brands, yet? If so, how did they do? These are definitely going on my wish list! Thanks, Claire!
I'm thinking that any set of colored pencils I have to pay for in installments is too rich for my blood. 😁😁
Those look so awesome!
Great review.
Love them. Have them like 2 month’s. Use them with Caran d’ache luminance. They work perfect together ❤️
Thanks for the review. I love the colors
I have these and I absolutely love em 🥺🥺🥺 they are my go to lol
Hi Claire . You said these pencils have the same paste as MITSUBISHI UNI BALL DERMATOGRAPHIC PENCIL ??
No, they are made by Uni that's the only resemblance
@@ColourwithClaire Gracias 🤩🤩🤩
Do you know where these pencils can be bought open stock in the UK ?
Yes, here: www.cultpens.com/i/q/UN72941/uni-posca-pencil
I will try a open stock pencil first.
These pencils are expensive considering they are so new on the market. They had better be of the same quality as the Polychromos or the Luminance for that price.
The same quality at twice the cost? I'll pass....
Edze Jan de Haan Me too
I love the Posca brand and cannot wait to get my hands on these. Are they sold in the US? I can’t seem to find them on Amazon or any other local websites.
I'm not sure, but Cult Pens do ship worldwide if you're struggling to find them x
Walmart 45.90 with free delivery
Betsy Birge thanks! 👍
Betsy Birge I wish I saw you comment before I ordered them from Blick’s.
@@Msboochie2 :(
I received the.. Uni ..Older set from a kind woman. Cool case However for me they are Hard.. the created wax.. Japan.. Are these like them.? Same Uni products..
No not the same. These are incredibly soft
Hi 👋🏻 nice review. Will you ever test the posca pastels ?
Yes, I have a set. Not too confident with them at the mo, will have to keep practicing x
Colour with Claire cool can’t wait to see your video I really like them :)
they are terrible- very hard, scratchy, don't blend well. Caran Dache Neocolor crayons are much better (the non-water soluble ones)
They're fantastic pencils, I've had mine for a week or so, got them with a serious discount though as the RRP is seriously overpriced imho.
Hey Claire (or viewers), I need your help!!
Do you know any set of colors - affordable one - I work with a lot of dark "non happy" colors? I work with color and emotions but I can't find any palette/set to give my clients to color with that have enough "sad/dark/non happy" colors since the most of them are so bright. I don't need professional artists-like colors. I really have no idea. Thanks you (and readers) for help.
Try looking for single pencils (open stock) on art sites. That way you can buy the specific colours you want instead of getting stuck with an expensive 120 set.
I think you can also combine brands, as they won't be the exact same color
Unless you are made of money you don't just pick them up. Prices of art supplies are ridiculous nowadays and one just has to say no!
Looking at the different sets of expensive pencils most colourists have, I do sometimes wonder if they are. And then they have Holbeins, Polychromos, Luminance, Pablos...and always colour with their Prismacolors anyway. Not my money of course but I sometimes have to step away from the colouring community because of the haul/spend culture.
It’s not just the colouring community, but any collection/craft community... quilting/fabric, sewing/machines/fabric, knitters/crochets with yarn and notions, stamping community, handbag collectors, fishing and hunting people with their products, camping nuts, golfers....... it’s all really just another form of addiction... but there are far worse things to spend our money on....
The internet has enabled shopping and sharing of ideas you didn’t used to see on this scale.... and it’s more the sellers who are raising their prices to cash in as well....
Do you think that prisma are better than these?
They are very comparable but prisma have more colours xx
@@ColourwithClaire okay thank you
Very nice review video thanks dear👍😙😽💓✌
Omg! Claire! I'm just as bad! 😂 😂! And I know I'm going to have to have them! Lol 😂😂😂! Thanks for sharing! 😉 💖!
Has anyone tried erasing them with different erasers?
wow they look amazing tfs take care and stay safe hugs Cal x
I didn't even know Posca made pencils!
Oh pretty I want lol.
I wonder if they will ever get to Canada, and how much they will be. I love that they are open stock. Way to expensive right now, it would be near $150 Cad right now, I could get the full set of Castle art pencils (they are expensive here too) and have a little bit left over.
I want all the pencils lol.
I want all the pencils too!
My wallet doesn't like you, but I love you!!! Haha
Claire I know how you feel and on top of what u said I am left handed and they smear awful. I bought mine from Blicks and I had no idea I could return them I am going to call Blicks I had mine a year and never used them again so wish me luck as I want to purchase the light fast derwent instead ! I have the pro color and color
I have been looking for coloring books but idk where I have looked on amazon and bought a couple but I want more does anybody have any online sites for coloring books ???
You may want to have a look at Book Depository. Their prices are usually higher than Amazon US but they have free shipping worldwide.
Amazon, Etsy or even search colouring book haul on RUclips and they’ll be links to books in the description of people’s videos xx
These are to expensive, i prefered to wait till the price goes down, every time whe know a Brand whe love release a new art supplies, well they are pricy specially to canada where hour $ is very low, but they looks very Awesome to worked with, i have so many great Brands and not the cheaper ones but the most expensive ones like Luminance, Pablo Caran d'ache and so many others who i've payede a fortune to get those when i start to color and i really love well i wan't the best quality of colored pencils which i've bought or recieved has Gift by my Hubby who he's an Angel and never say no but theirs a lot who are still packed and not even try all all of these so know i'm more reasonnable or i try LOL! Thank You Claire, great review as usual!
I am shocked that my pencils arrived without the names of the colors on the pencils. That is so annoying. And a cheap way out, IMHO, especially for the price.
Great review!
Wow! They are pricey 😬
Thanks for sharing, but these cost too much for 36 color pencils. Uniball can do better.
Once all my expensive colored pencils get too short, I'll buy the highest number of crayola colored pencils and be happy.
my mom will not let me have one coose im a kid 😅
They are way over priced for what they are. I can get a 40 set of Luminance pencils for less money and I know the light-fast need of those
88 pounds = little over $111 for USA
Walmart 45.90 with free delivery
Twice the price of Faber Castell.! I'll give it a miss.!
