I'm going back a lot of years of fishing, but sometime local conditions vary as to what bait and style suits Luderick. I remember living in the Shoalhaven River district in my young days and catching literally heaps and heaps of Luderick on the humble Squirt Worm which were so common to pump around Pig Island. My point being that the bait and style of fishing can vary a lot according to local conditions and seasons.
I noticed you said you were brought up fishing around the Batemans Bay area, would be so awesome if you did a show from there, it's my closest waters and would love some tips ;-)
