i loved how white played actually. they tried something new to see how it would go and he now has learned that that strategy isnt that good. lots of players wont take risks and not try new things but white went for it.
@@elyazidabed9092 Like comment said, White trying to bait CG Yellow to overcommit and directly attack castle, which has high defense advantage, and can turn the tide
i think strategy might have given them the win but they just didn't do it right. They should have try to do it when he doesnt have a card trade and when he is far away from big stacks. I saw this tactic work on so many masters / grandmasters video. It could be very effective if you do it right.
What white was doing was actually one of the best ways to close a 1v1 on prog caps. It was just a timing problem. He needed the sets to be higher and to only start the cardblock when cg was on 2 cards and no fortify could get a card next turn. He should've just kept playing the 1v1 straight while focusing on making just one cap really big. Although he also may not have needed to set up a cardblock if he just played the 1v1 out regularly. Cg was pretty behind and shouldn't have been able to hold any continents. Cg also had a great cardblock chance before white threw his lead. Cg could've kept the red bot alive, and just traded with it forever behind him and would've forced white to end the game in a few turns or it was over. White probably would've just taken the aus cards and give cg the time needed to build up the cap with a bot behind it. Just like whites cardblock, it may have been too early to try it but it looked feasible imo.
problem with trading with red is that then red would be getting stronger with income and trades, thus making it harder to take out red at the end of the day
CG, it is almost never a good move to have your troops off capital, especially in progressive. In the case of you moving off your Middle East capital to guard in Siam for the AUS bonus, that is not the best move. The extra 2 troops you get from that bonus are not important when you are past the first round of card trades, and leaving your troops off a capital makes you SIGNIFICANTLY weaker since your Capital is so strong against attacks. Also, in that moment when you decided to attack Green, you could have killed Green for 4 cards and basically been the same in troops due to the trade you would have gotten. Edit: Not to mention the Middle East position is VERY hard to card block, but Siam is much easier.
Got into Risk partly because of you, and I have to say that you are the reason I have won my games. Just an hour ago, got a crazy seven-bonus two-point hold on World, and won the game with your advice.
the card block in europe is interesting. the strategy might work if white also card block on other borders between continents. but it need much more planning ahead. currently the bonus is more advantageous.
Man I love watching your videos it got me into risk but I literally suck I haven't even come close to winning a game. I'll just keep watching you its more entertaining anyway lol. Nice video as always.
Anyone watching, noob corner AUS is actually good to let others take if they're dumb enough to want it, specially with a horrible back cap on top of that. Take it if it's free, but never fight heavily to hold it if you're already out on another cap or can be.
It's possible that White saw that you were a *fast* player and figured that there was no way for them to win in the "break and recapture" game. So they decided that their only hope was to try and deny you cards, and pray you made a mistake.
What was with *edit* WHITE * in the end, they could have easily taken north America on a 2point hold, earlier in the game, they just didn't. I can't see the logic, their capital is there already.
Hey I feel like you could of won earlier, you might of forgot you only need the capitals to win, so you could of used the bonuses when both capital were quite weak at the end to win.
In risk I switch names (and recently flags) a lot to make it harder for people to know they're playing against me (I want fair matches against random people who don't know it's me).
Hey man, i started the game on steam and i have 150 token, but what when they are played? ist this "premium" a "forever"-fullversion or is it just for a period of time? thanks for all the content, love it!
Red and White had the occasion to kill you, above all when you didn't have capitals. Red holding 25 on Africa border and just 5 on its capital was the stupidest move in a progressive game ever seen... Then the White should have card-blocked you by removing your 40 from SIAM, or by just hitting your borders and not allowing you to get 22 per turn... it was a very poor game strategy from your enemies
Editing and commentary was great, but tbh I think you made multiple mistakes. Many locked stacks, many off capital troops, trading Middle East cap for off capital Aus guard... You were lucky my friend here

hhhhh what new strategy he give him the win xDDDDD

It probably works against impatient people.

How fitting that the last territory CG seized was his original capital
Well played game to White. I think they knew they were toast but wanted to experiment a little. They were a real one from the start. Great game CG!
I LOVE THIS EDITING STYLE, no other risk youtuber does it, it's way cleaner and nicer than any other channel

It's actually a good strategy, but he needs to hold some territory for that strat, if he holds nothing it doesn't work too well

Can someone explain the card trades to me? I don’t get the bonus of using 3 of the same kind of card vs any cards.
