Just because you are a hero in war doesn't mean you aren't a complete twat to other humans in your personal life (I'm sure going through what he did certainly took its toll on his mental health). Still, the story would be interesting to hear.

      So I guess victim blaming is okay as long as the victim is a male. Love the double standard and misandry in 2018. A woman tried to kill a human being and it gets glossed over and people on the internet comes to her defense and vilified a medal of honor recipient. I wonder if people would respond the same way if this war hero was woman and instead it was her husband that tried to have her killed. I think not.

    Wouldn't it be good practice to dig a few really deep grenade holes in the floors along the trenches, perhaps with a screw-type device? You could chuck grenades there. Since he had time to throw his body on it, he would probably have time to throw it in a hole that was within arms reach. It would concentrate the blast mostly in a thin tube upwards in the air, with the ground absorbing a large portion of the energy.

    • @davefrompa5334
      @davefrompa5334 6 лет назад +2

      Danielle Spargo When digging a foxhole, you're supposed to dig a hole in the front inside wall of a foxhole ( called a grenade sump ) You're supposed to kick the grenade inside that hole to absorb the blast. Not that easy to do, especially at night.
