I lived in a neighboring state from you Vinny and they aired on Nickelodeon. Again Nickelodeon had pretty messed up commercials mostly by truth anti-drug PSA commercials. I have tried to find them and send them to you. Sorry I keep missing your streams I have to work when you stream.
it's funny, vinny had just seen it a week earlier in raldi's crackhouse, too! He didn't have much of a reaction then but that's probably cause he was sick and it was just meme overload
Which it's funny because it's a standard animation preset from Autodesk 3DS Max (or 3D Studio Max R2) It (the Gmod dance) was also seen in an episode of Xavier Renegade Angel, technically making both TV related medias predating the Garry's Mod dance meme itself.
The thing that pisses me off about that Wendy's commercial is that there's already a state of matter between a solid and a liquid (Bose-Einstein Condensate,) and ice cream is verifiably a solid. The 2nd thing that pisses me off is that they put "Soquid" on a table of elements, even though it's a supposed state of matter, not an element.
Verifiably a solid in what form? Soft serve is practically liquid. Y'know there's that stuff that takes years to even drip and it's still considered liquid, right?
1:20:11 There's something really funny about this commercial using Wario to promote what's likely a scam. They're either self-aware, or they really didn't think this through
1:47:44 As a chilean, It's been years since I've seen that commercial. For some context: the ducks are the mascots of a bank here in Chile called Banco Estado. 1:14:51 Vinny's become an art critic for mobile ads. "Nyes, but... hmm... what's the *necessity* of the giant woman though?" *rests chin on back of hand lazily*
1:53:52 The graphic death of the cane toad may seem shocking to those unfamiliar with the situation, but in the Northern Australian states the damage they cause is on par with the biblical plague of locusts. As an introduced species, local wildlife that would predate upon them aren't used to their toxins. So safe from predators they spawn way out of control. It's not uncommon to see literally hundreds of thousands if not millions move into an area and eat all the wildlife smaller than them and kill anything big enough that tries to eat them, including household pets. The revulsion many Australians feel towards Cane Toads is on par if not worse than Vinny's revulsion towards house centipedes.
I think the deal with that Levi’s commercial with the dead hamster is that since literally everyone was buying Levi’s they didn’t need to advertise, thus they decided to make commercials that made absolutely no sense and just slapped the logo at the end.

The “Pussy” advert is interesting, because like many of these commercials they become unintentionally funny when they’re localised around Europe. “Pussy” is called “Felix” in the UK, and is a beloved brand with an iconic jingle. Or possibly the more popular blunder of the Mitsubishi Pajero which eventually changed its name to the Shogun after it was found that "Pajero" means wanker in spanish
Vinny, those weren't frogs in the Ford commercial. Those were cane toads. Cane toads are invasive in Australia because they got brought over here, spread like wildfire and they kill a lot of the native animals because they're poisonous. That's why they showed a car running over and killing one.

@@elliot_rat there's commercials like these all over the world. Off the top of my head, I've seen the UK PSAs about level crossings, and I remember having to go to a high school assembly in NJ where we had to watch a video about not trying to beat the train since they were adding light rail to the town at the time. I don't know if anyone else remembers but that water commercial with the volcano just unlocked a deep cut memory for me of an animation on flipnote studio for the DSi by the artist Epic Guitar back in 2009. It's crazy I finally know where that audio's from along with the ytp.
1:14:28 Ok, so, there are exactly 2 characters in Genshin that can punch as of right now 05/02/2024 (02/05 for you Americans). None of them are featured in this ad. Coincidentally, both of these "brawlers" deal no damage to the boss the people in the ad are fighting due to his elemental immunities (Cryo and Anemo/aka Ice and Wind). And in reality they couldn't even be featured in the first place, cuz the first character that could punch released 6 months AFTER this ad. Nice ad.

41:25 Vinny, as a Nevada native, it's locally pronounced "Neh-vad-uh" not "Nuh-vah-duh." I can go into a linguistics argument about this, but simply said, the articulation of the "a" sound is closer to the original Spanish "nevada" pronunciation. People especially in the east cost seem to pronounce it "Nuh-vah-duh" I've noticed. Not to get confrontational, but it's like a litmus test for Nevadans of who is from Nevada, etc. Haha
@@crazyluigi6664 Totally. That's why I mentioned east coast. Those in the west tend to say it the same way, including my friends in California and Arizona. Did nobody see the condom on a roll next to it??
If you glue your hand to your pickle, you'll unlock infinite JO.
They got the special pants for it.
Hey, don't knock it until you try it.
You know, I'm surprised no one mentioned how fucking insane that commercial at 25:31 was. Botswana is wild for that one.
@@elliot_rat 😳I have to wonder if the audio used was the exact same audio or something similar now.
@@elliot_rat Sounds like a a fair point there.
@@elliot_rat there's commercials like these all over the world. Off the top of my head, I've seen the UK PSAs about level crossings, and I remember having to go to a high school assembly in NJ where we had to watch a video about not trying to beat the train since they were adding light rail to the town at the time. It's sadly a fairly common thing.

25:16 Holy crap, I remember the Disney "Environmentality" campaign! A 5th grade teacher I had at my elementary school always did their annual school challenge for best environmental project, and actually won multiple times in a row. The winning class received a trip to Disneyland and California Adventure with a ceremony to award them medals
40:45 That was the most mobile ad commercial that wasn't actually a mobile ad
Fun fact: That creepy horse woman commercial was done by Doug garreth williams, the same guy who directed the cursed baby cream commercial
The WHAT commercial?
That Two Horses commercial at the end was one of the most genuinely disturbing things I've ever seen, and I feel like I must have a curse on me for having witnessed it. I'd better call David Spade...
I saw this comment before watching and I wish I hadn't watched it at all jesus fuck, literally body horror and shit the level of Trevor Henderson
Two Horses is by the same guy who made the Little Baby’s Ice Cream commercial, he’s a real legend in the horrifying commercials industry
@@gryotharian Noted. Thankfully, I don't know what commercial you're talking about. After seeing the horse one, I should keep it that way.
@@ManiacTenshiMakenshi I watched this segment live with a friend, and she was fortunate enough to have her internet go out around the end of it, causing her to miss that commercial, lol
i found it kinda hot
So I like how last night I decided to go to bed about 5 minutes before the Two Horses commercial.
I'm glad I made that decision since the sun is still out and I feel safe today.
Damn, I was really hoping Vinny would hear that they used “Drop It Like It’s Hot” at 35:15.
That shit had me in stitches 😂
Snorp doge is truly international, first Germany now Pakistan
Seeing the Volcano commercial so soon after DaTings made a YTP out of it is breaking my brain.
I mainly associate the commercial with Media Mementoes. Mainly due to their top 10 videos they decided to not make (or something like that).
The tone of his voice when he exclaims "MARGE?!!?!?" is hilarious, like "how could she be so SCANDALOUS?" lmao
I mean, Marge wouldn’t do that…
That last ad seems like the kind of collective nightmare you'd experience if you lived in Enumclaw, Washington.

The Solar Leads commercial is advertising to companies who install solar panels a way to get leads for clients. getting a lead means they found someone who is possibly looking into getting solar panels and so they can pursue trying to sell to that person.
Why is this a thing? Why would I not just be contacting a solar panel company myself?
Does this exist in other industries?
@@DasAntiNaziBroetchen getting leads for possible clients is in many industries. I was almost hired at a car dealership for their call center where I would have to find and contact leads to try to get them to come into the dealership to look at a car
I did not take that job offer.
HE WATCHED MY DMC AD OMG I SUBMITTED THAT
Dee em cee too is baest aed
1:05:14 the irony on this ad is funny to me. Imagine using the internet to buy encyclopedias when in only a handful of years the internet itself will render encyclopedias obsolete.
They weren't advertising buying encyclopedias, they were saying you can read an encyclopedia using compuserve.
Compuserve wasn't an online shopping service, it was just a general "conputer go online" service from before the internet was widely available to the public.
Thank you for putting out the videos so that I can watch them.
the smokey's ads make me so happy because i love hearing someone from staten island finding our accents weird and funny
though sadly it closed over 20 years ago
Literally a day later, Ryan Reynolds drops a commercial with Tommy Wiseau in it. Vinny NEEDS to see that.
chat member saying "vinny people did used to write on paper yknow" is so funny given that it's 100% likely vinny has had to do more of it in his lifetime than chat member who's (being generous) likely in their twenties ish haha
1:07:33 Just when I thought Vinny's duck noises couldn't get more cursed...
I can see the lady from 1:44:50 as an expectation for animal people, but the girls from 2:07:05 being the reality.
Also, having hooves for hands must be pretty bad to hold things.
i find it fascinating that a single chat message about nonstandard simpsons has affected his whole vocabulary
Nice ad.
I used to live in Corydon, Butt Drugs is totally real and has always been called that. Literally said "holy shit is that Butt Drugs?!" before they said it. Also they've had the "parking in rear" thing on their bags forever, I picked up my aunt's prescription there once
It’s so cool seeing Diddy’s Mark’s Pizzeria video blow up so much. Hopefully his art will get more popular because of it

I’m glad the Volcic commercials finally got shown
As an old-school RUclips Poop lover, same! :D
Haha
Or at least those are that are nearby Nevada just enough, like those are neighboring the state like Arizonans.
@@crazyluigi6664 Totally. That's why I mentioned east coast. Those in the west tend to say it the same way, including my friends in California and Arizona.
It's like the one thing that ticks us off, for some reason. We had politicians come through acting chummy before I think but constantly said it the other way, and it felt disingenuous (not that I expect politicians to really be genuine at this point~) addressing us like long time friends.
I don't fault Vinny or anything. I hear it all the time but it does fascinate me.
@@TayoEXE I hear you. It was especially like that for Hunt Down The Freeman when Mesa was said wrong not necessarily as a Half-Life fan, but more as a life-long Arizonan who knows exactly what Mesa freakin' sounds like!

35:15 ....is this commercial using a fucking SNOOP DOGG sample in their jingle???? I stg i can hear the tongue clicking from "drop it like it's hot" in there....
Commercial Chaos is my favorite part of Vinesauce these days. I could do without the mobile ads, but what a great segment. Thank you Vinny and Mad Clown!
I understand why they get included, but at the same time they're becoming very samey. The cycle of ripping each other off has basically peaked.
