Sorry that the vid quality ain't great but you can see clearly how much and how to get both cars in GT5 quick way of getting these is by clicking a license and starting from license 6 and just click each next arrow until 10 then exit 1 race = 6 NEW used cars 5 x 6 = 30 thats the max used cars you see at one time so always check after every 5 races or you may miss it took me 9 straight hours for these to appear. Formula Gran Turismo is great for B-Spec you come first without any problems.

I saved money for 2 straight months until i got 10 million to buy the F1 of Ferrari only to find out you cant use it neither in a spec nor b spec.

Found the jay leno tank car before, it is incredibly fast when in the demo, but thankfully dont have money for that
On seasonal Events, do the ferrari one, second race, you can get 500k every 3 and a half minutes! Beast!
I already have multiple Formula cars but it would be an achievement to get one right now
if GT6 is brought out on PS4, i hope they make it so you can trade cars and stuff properly. Like actually but them up to be bid on by other players. That would be cool

ok, guys I solved the problem and I think it's the only way possible!
you have to use hacking, a simple pc program (gt 5 garage editor). Find many tutorials on RUclips.
Many use it to have expendable credits; you can also have all the cars in the game including the Formula GT!
This is the only current method to get the Formula GT!
I have used this little program and it works 100%!
Now finally after 2 years of useless attempts to find the car in the used car dealer, I can participate in the Formula GT!

@alih15 it's not imposible if you will always play the game and also you must unlock the races in higher levels which has better pay. for instance the european championship in extreme mode has a cash prize of 99,000 for being first. i am now at level 23 and i have 2.6 million in my credit
@Sickboiy27 thanks. I was looking on the 'Used Dealership' for literally 3 hours after trying the 'license' trick. Found it online dealership for 5 million after giving up and deciding to google this.

@n11lc2 Correct in fact i won the tank car in american championship in extreme mode. i am now trying to gain as much credit as i can to buy the formula 1 car
if you are buying this car to race in the formula gran turismo championship under extreme.. be warned its 30 times harder than any other race

@patriciotmy the formula one gt has a powerful engine so you cant upgrade it in the tuning shop.

You need to make in game days pass, so just load licenses to refresh the used car dealership
If you're online it's in the Online Car Dealership for 5mill .. every day

You have to have a Playstation Network account and internet and in the menu there will be an icon that says "Online Dealership"

After 50 times i refresh all cars on used cars deal i started to curse the polyphony developers one by one
The first Formula GT is in the queue of UCD under the number 9497. So, from the very beginning of the game we have to refresh all cars 316 times. Or just drive 1580 races.

What color is the FGT in the online dealership? It's yellow in my copy of the game, while someone else claimed his copy featured the orange one.

You only need to beat the american championship in a spec for the jay leno.

it is easier to get your b-spec up to lv22 and do 'Like the Wind' for the toyota 7 D:
But you dont need the toyota 7 to complete the game, but you need FGT.
I saved up money to buy a formula gran turismo that had a livery that was similar to what McLaren has today, and when i get into the online dealership they have all new cars and theres a livery that looks somewhat like the old jaguar livery.. huge loss there in my opinion but whatever ;D i need the car anyway lol

you get the jay leno tank car for free by beating the american cup in the extreme series dont buy it you will be so mad once you drive it.

Yes you need level 24 to get it. On either a spec or b spec
you need a lot higher level :D
