Starting my own knitting and crocheting channel is one of the best thing I did for myself this year. You, Bethany and Kutovakika are my major inspo for starting my channel 😁. It just feels so nice to have a place to share my projects and talk about my hobby for as long as I want to and actually have people listen and watch them. I don’t have friends in real life who are interested in my hobby so insta and RUclips really are a nice avenue for that.
Yes I agree, the knitting process doesn't stop after completing a project, so I always love seeing how others style their knits and incorporate them in their daily life :)
Thank you so much, that's so nice to hear! Yes, I wish I would have known these things before starting to share my work on social media. Sharing is caring in the end ;)
Thank you very much for this informativ video, Lisa. And i agree with you.....to have fun is the important thing. Also in knitting and in making videos. Have a wonderful weekend. Greetings from Germany. Iris.😊
I never take the time to thank you for all your videos, so here I am ! I'm really craving all sundays' afternoon to see you and binged watching your content 🌼 I've begin my french knitting channel recently and I'm struggling a bit because I don't really like the quality of my content, cause of my camera and editing I suppose ^^ I really should take more time to increase my skills ! I really don't like Instagram but I've decided to use it just to talk with some people, but I barely publish and don't want to enter in the algorithm science haha ! But I also want to say that the knitting community is very kind and I'm very happy that I've started my channel, and I really excited to see my progress ! Thank you for all your amazing videos! A lot of love from my covid isolation 🌼
Ahh merci beaucoup ! I immediately subscribed to your channel, because I'm trying to watch more french content haha. I really understand why you don't like instagram, I have a love/hate relationship with it as well. And I hope you feel better soon, having covid really sucks 🧡🧡
I finally got over my fear of looking silly or awkward and posted my first RUclips video recently ahaha hopefully it'll take off a bit! Thanks for the advice!
I have definitely been looking to join/create a knit club like what you made, but my challenge has been finding existing groups or people who would want to meet up. That is to say, do you have tips finding knitting accounts of people from your area? (I’m from the US btw so I’m looking for people more within my state XD)
Mmm it’s always difficult. But maybe try visiting a local yarn shop and ask if they know people or if they can share a post looking for fellow knitters. Otherwise I would just say to post it on your stories and ask for people to share it. Good luck!
hey hey! I hope you enjoyed this video, and feel free to share your thoughts on this topic in the comments 🥰🥰 This video is kindly sponsored by BetterHelp, if you want to try it out, make sure to use betterhelp.com/knitclub for 10% off your first month
just to clarify, you definitely don’t need a camera/mic/lighting to make youtube videos. you can even make good quality videos nowadays with a regular phone

Yes, same! This is exactly the reason why I started as well, and I love Bethany and Kutovakika as well ❤️
I agree - styling past FOs are such an underrated type of instagram post/reel !! I wish people made more of this and am planning some myself :)
