Post a video when you can. Your studies, exchange experience and health are are priorities. My vacation is complete. As a teacher, September means back to work. Knitting is slowing down, but the mojo to create still is here. Enjoy France!
Hi Lisa! I follow you and I live in south Texas USA…. I’m a 54 YO stay at home mom to our 13 YO son. I also am losing knitting mojo mostly because it’s so dang hot here. I love seeing a young person such as yourself living such an international life, and this is what I hope for for our son (we are not Texans). My husband and I would love to retire at some point outside of the US, or at the very least somewhere much further north than we are now. He is from Delaware and I grew up in the Chicago area, both in the US. I love seeing what other knitters from all walks of life are making…. Have you seen the ‘Float’ shawl pattern? I think a lovely Monet-ish yarn worked into that pattern (it’s designed around yarn dyed specifically for designated pooling) would be a lovely homage to your time there.

i've lost all my motivation to work on my crochet projects, but i'm so inspired by sock knitting rn (thank you for your video on this topic btw🥰)! it feels strange to be like excited and satisfied with my socks progress, but it feels like i cannot fully enjoy it bc of my abandoned granny square project((

It’s so fun that you’re in France! I myself work here for a couple of months so I feel like I’m really connecting with you through that. Unfortunately not very close to Grenoble. You also really inspire me to go on an exchange when I’m in uni
No need to apologize for not producing knitting content regulary. :) Actually I would also be interested in our personal experience about Erasmus, France observations from a perspective of an expat and alltogether the experiences of meeting other people from different countries during your stay. :)
