In the development video, you brought up how Aonuma snuck in certain time changes for outside of Clock Town, well the Swamp is host to one I know. If you wait until the 2nd day to help Kotake, she will actually ride out of her potion shop and go into the woods to search for Koume.
The really heartbreaking part about Skull Kid turning Link into a Deku is that if, underneath the Mask's dark possession, this may be a twisted act of friendship. (Assuming the theory that this Skull Kid being the lonely Skull Kid in OoT who buys the Skull Mask holds true) Making him a Deku makes him a Child of the Forest, and of the Deku Tree. He can stay in the forest forever- be Skull Kid's "Friend." There's an implication that Link would become ostracized for not being a Kokiri, as we see him unrecognized in OoT as an adult and we know he joins Hylian society in TP. And we know he grows up a bit between OoT and MM, because he doesn't need the Goron's Bracelet anymore, so those issues may have already begun to present by the start of Majora's Mask. On the bright side, Twilight Princess implies that Skull Kid and the Hero of Time continued their friendship even into Link's afterlife, as Skull Kid is a guardian spirit who tests the Hero of Twilight, (Because when there has to be a test to get to a Temple or Shrine in the Lost Woods) and the Hero's Shade seems to be a sort of benevolent version of a Stalfos, (According to the Zelda encyclopedia) which is a fate stated to befall those who die in the Lost Woods. You howl Saria's song basically Right There in the Sacred Grove, right after you deal with Skull Kid. So Link is probably right there somewhere in the Forest, and Skull Kid has been there with him, being basically the one guy who knows how much of a hero he he actually is. Helping him to settle his unresolved business and pass on to the next life. Skull Kid turned out to be a pretty upstanding fella, even if he was a bit of an annoying fight in TP
Tingle starting out here and then spreading into Hyrule as a whole amuses me. It's like Majora sending an infection into Hylia's lands as petty revenge, and I am here for it. I wished for Majora's Mask when it got released, so as someone who played this game when it was new-ish it's become firmly ingrained in my brain, to the poin twhere I know nearly every step of it by heart. As such I'm mostly looking forward to the interviews that pop up here so as to maybe give some context to this fever-dream that's haunted most of my life- I had no idea where they got the idea of the jump-cutting Mask Salesman, for instance.
You've just opened my eyes (or rather my ears) to the Music used in the Swamp, Mountain, Ocean and Canyon being similar to Majora's theme. It never clicked for me that they were the same song with different arrangements.
So Link is just robbing the bank of Termina, the banks funds stay the same but the amount of his customer stamp changes so he's withdrawing money that's not his as his deposits always return to where they came from upon time reset. A time heist.
@Sara-bear-a 🙂↕️ Indeed. I mean his father couldn't even provide for him which ended up with his growth being stunted and his brain development not surpassing a six year old. By his death he still believed he was a make-believe fairy 😔

@@Birdsflight44 Yes, it was the first flying using a chicken. I think Majora's Mask feels different though. Majora's Mask seems to set up gliding in later games moreso than the chickens in previous games I think.
While it's not 100% perfect, the audio has improved so much throughout this series that I'm just glad he's now using a compressor effectively. I don't even notice the audio anymore. If you've seen any of the videos on the first two games you'll know what I'm talking about. Also really glad this series is out there!
You can use the blast mask while using the shield, that won't hurt you

It should, perhaps, be noted that, IIRC, the Stray Fairy in Clock Town moves throughout the three-day cycle.
