    What an absolute weapon! Just crazy how much power these things have, it looks like a lot of fun! Nothing like the feeling of the first ride on your new bike.

      It’s such an awesome piece of machinery man, but the dirt and adventure riding is still where it’s at, just good to have something like this for a bit of extra fun haha!

    Woo Hoo...Everyone needs to experience a liter bike. I did just the opposite of you. I went from a ZX14R to ZH2 then dirt but, the licensing regulations are different here in the US. There are none😂. Pass a test and get what ever you can afford. The feeling you are showing in this vid never goes away my brother, which is why I had to get the KTM 1290 SA-R. It really bridges the gap between a sport bike and a dual sport.
    I look forward to watching your learning process as it is pretty fun as I, and many others, have learned. I learned sooo much when I got my ZX14.
    I have and prefer a 1 piece. Most tracks around here want you to have a 1 piece but they will accept a 2 piece as long as it is a 3/4 zip. Last thing you want is a 1/2 or 1/4 zip to come apart on a high speed slide. I have an RST R-18 leather suit and TCX RT Race, boots. I personally didn't see the need to go all out and this is the middle of the road gear. Oh, Bell Race Star helmet. Hope that helps a little. There is so much to consider. Like what luggage to get for your dual sport😀

    • @AusMoto
      @AusMoto  Год назад +2

      100% and wow, you've definitely owned some BIG bikes haha!
      Certainly helps, I think I will go with the 1 piece.

      @@AusMoto Good deal, one piece is the way to go IMO. Glad to help bud.

    Dude iv had both 600 and 1000 I personally preferred a litre bike the mid range power is great if you don’t want to flog the f out of your bike but still get along at a good pace not to mention that top end hp as well😍Also track days and quarter mile nights bring out the hoon in you 😂 much fun…good choice🙌

    Man after heading into the hills on my whimpy 500 over the weekend I’d die on a big bike like that. I would take a course before rising just for my own piece of mind. We need these bikes as much as we need automatic rifles here but they are fun.

    Congrats, amazing machine, can past cars like cars past an ant. In the 90s I use to quite often travel 200kms in 1 hour and if you went past the patrol cars fast enough they would not even try to turn around and chase you. Enjoy.

    Why don't bikes have stands on both sides? As a failsafe

    • @AusMoto
      @AusMoto  6 месяцев назад

      Interesting, not sure why but a lot of bikes do have centre stands which solves that issue 🤣

    I always find it fascinating when folks get a high performance machine and never even get into the powerband. Of course, i dont blame you hecause you live in the wonderful Police state of Australia, but still.
    Congrats on the bike regardless.

    • @AusMoto
      @AusMoto  Год назад

      Yeah mate, it takes a lot of self control on one of these bikes to not lose your license here in Victoria, so I'll be saving the powerband for the track and drag strips but can't wait to actually open her up!

    • @mementomori4972
      @mementomori4972 9 месяцев назад

      He is on a public road, he can't go into the powerband on a 1000cc and if he does, he's not mature enough to be riding this thing anyways.

  • @Sunrazor
    @Sunrazor 8 месяцев назад

    If you want a sportsbike I suppose you could as well get a 1000cc. A 600cc will still break the speed limit. But go testride an MT07 or perhaps even MT09. Silly amounts of fun. That said, that is one mean machine. Ride safe man.
