The only thing I noticed is the stabilization on the video could be better. But overall for a $500 phone it looks pretty good.

Not bad at all. Sound recording is also an improvement on past Moto phones.
I commented on a couple other videos of yours about this phone, and it arrived in the mail today.
Still need to get it setup and move everything over from my LG Velvet (we're talking 10 years of photos, downloads, and text messages. I like to keep EVERYTHING.), and I will get it activated next week, but I took a few sample photos tonight with both my Velvet and new Edge 2022.
The Edge (Dimensity 1050) is a bit better than my Velvet (Dimensity 1000C), but still need to do more testing, but so far I am happy with the results.
Have you already tried the Motorola? Which is better, the LG velvet or the Motorola? They are exchanging a motorola for LG velvet
I have an Edge 2022 and the Camera is fine for my needs. If you want a super camera go with the 2021 Edge, I believe it is 108 mega pixel, but for a free phone I got from T mobile on a Port over from Verizon, I am a Happy Camper.
Does the selfie camera suck or is it just my phone
Strange decision for the front facing to cap out at 1080p with a 32MP camera. Why not just keep it at 8 or 12 and put those savings into something else like a telephoto lens instead of depth camera.
At night you could definitely tell the ultra wide was struggling which ended up making the OIS and bigger sensor on the main camera look much better. I'm guessing you couldn't turn off OIS to show us the difference? Also, would be nice to see similar shots/videos on different phones with OIS for comparison.
Nvm, found your Moto vs LG V60. Too bad Moto still can't get their camera up to snuff especially against a much older phone.
Totally agree, OnePlus does the same thing, high MP, Low resolution. I'll never understand
How about a review of the new just released fully unlocked US version Moto Edge 2023 that's on sale for $499 which of course was the Moto Edge 40 everywhere else.
my biggest complaint are the flesh tones of indoor pics. The people often look fake. That's the one scenario that I'm dissatisfied with using my 2022 Edge+
I think you can change that in the main settings on the phone I'm pretty sure the color tone reflects in the
@@marke.8334 it's less about tone and more that the faces look fake. Putting in in Pro mode usually helps, but not every shot.

If you are with T-Mobile you can trade in any phone with a clear IMEI number (even broken) and pay just for the taxes on the phone. Maybe around $40 or so if you do it online and not in store or over the phone. Once you place the order they will include an envelope for you to send the trade-in device back to them. I'm in the Dallas area and just went thru the process on July 21. You can have it mailed or pick up at the store.
It's a win for me because the trade in was one of my oldest flip phones that I ever owned. If the phone isn't nice I only lost around 40 bucks.

How does this compare to the Galaxy S20 Ultra Camera? I have the S20 Utra, but damaged screen but still working good and I can get Edge for $199 has the Faster Snapdragon 8 GEN 1 Processor. I like Motorolos but Im concerned about how the Camera Quality will compare to the S20 ?

All video recordings look choppy, unstable framerates style... Twenty dollar action cameras do a better job...
For a 336.00 $ phone is ok.
