Are screen problems common on this phone? I've been reading a lot about people that has had to get up to four replacements because the Edge's screen was defective (green smudges and all of that). Anyway, great video! Hopefully someone can answer my question so I'll finally be able to decide whether to buy this phone or not :-)
I have no problems with display and I know a few folks that have the phone with no issues either. the thing is if you have any problems Moto will take care of it for you and if you get it from Amazon you have 30 days to return it.

Is there a way to wake the phone without hitting the power button? Phones with physical fingerprint sensors allow you to touch the sensor to unlock the phone in one step. With this phone having the sensor on the screen, does the screen have to be active first? Also are there any cases that fit this phone while still allowing the edge features? I just ordered this phone and a Spigen case, but it appears it will block the curved part of the screen.
I don't have the Edge (yet) but I have a similar Motorola phone that has all the same features. If you use the sneak view feature, simply moving the phone or waving your hand over it should "wake" the screen. Then the fingerprint sensor should show up to allow for unlocking. I also find this useful because I can just look at my phone and see the time and any notifications I have at the time. Personally, I have always liked Motorola phones and I think they are overlooked as contenders to Samsung and Apple. But, just my humble opinion. Everyone has their own preferences, and I always say, "to each their own". Hope this helps!
Why didn't you show what the phone notification looked like? Or the edge features? Why did you also keep saying swipe right when you were clearly swiping LEFT! You are either new at this or bad at this?? ✌️

@@meganchapman3382 I found a brand someone suggested on Reddit. I wasted one of the covers but my second try application went better. The bubbles smoothed out after 3 days. It's not as nice as tempered glass but it's better than nothing and the screen edge sensitivity works fine. It also fits with my phone case which I've heard is sometimes a problem with other brands. Do they have where you can unlock the phone with a pin or do you have to use fingerprint or face unlock? Also, how is it with watching youtube/movies? I always like a phone that's a nice liking multimedia phone but I'm never going to eoend like 1200 doe a Sony xperia 1 II either.

@@YourFuQQnWak i used it daily for a while now and yes the accidental touches can be a pain but that comes with a lot of curve edge phones- When I use it with a case it really helps that also. its money so if you don't like the phone its ok I respect your opinion but I just have a different one

Only got it because it was "the best" the Verizon store had in stock that day and Im taking it back. It does slide off of literally any and every single thing. It was sitting on my couch and slid off onto the damn floor (plush carpet) and the effing screen broke... ridiculous. Idk what it is exactly, maybe the whole "edge" thing...but I cant wait to get rid of this phone. Ive had it for 8days and I hate it with a passion. It does take pretty good pics though.
@@66naj I don't know what green screen is, but I returned the phone. On curved edges black and grey patches started to appear, in 3 days the grew from barely noticeable to 'wtf is this' I'd give 2 stars for it

Yes you can unlock it with a pin, pattern and biometrics... watching RUclips is great using this phone

I got one yesterday its 128 gb and theres a 268 gb version too
As of this moment, Moto Edge appears to have been removed from the Moto app and maybe the phone now doesn't even have an edge light. (2023 phone)
All edge features are useless if you have a phone case to protect your phone.
