- Two centuries of Anglo-Saxon (Saxe-Angles) Rule over what would become England (Sexland), as well as Viking invasion and the incorporation of Saexland into the North Sea Empire by Canute and Harald Hardrada.
A What if scenario where the migration patterns and locations of the Jutes, Saxons, and Angles were switched and place names were different. And the refusal of Christianity by the Pagan Germanic migrants in Britain, leading to a poorer Saexland that would evade Viking wrath, prompting the Viking subjugation of France instead, with a much larger North Sea Empire. And the perpetuation of the Celtic Insular Christians.
Timeline Trivia:
1. Polygamy is still common in Celtic Britannia as influence by the papacy is incredibly weak, and so many Celtic cultural traditions remain.
2. Canute and most great Viking rulers never convert to Christianity and remain Norse Pagan.
3. Saexland would become Sexland due to vowel shifts in modern English.
