      I hear u. May I just say that in general people need to scream out until someone listens! Nobody knows your body better that you! My grandfather went into the hospital for a fairly easy procedure although it was a surgery. He had to have surgery done on his knee and that went wonderful. Afterwards he kept telling the nurses and dr about the amount of stomach pain he was in. It was brushed off for almost 3 days as "gas".. When he was finally taken seriously, he died on the operating table bc they opened him up and his appendix had burst. It was too late.

      Some months ago I saw a report on "violence against women in the delivery room" it was mostly about the traumatic stuff that happens in France. I'm pretty shook to hear that it's just as bad in the US. If you're born with a uterus you're pretty much fucked all over the globe I guess.

      I was in the US Navy for ten years, not even in a medical field, and even I was taught the correct way to handle an injury like that! Every single person on the ship is taught how to triage a handful of severe injuries, one of which is an abdominal wound like she described. Everyone from the cooks to the captain would know that the medical staff she dealt with handled her wound incorrectly. She should absolutely hold that hospital legally accountable

      Well, my friend had a cyct on a kidney that they've watched since 2016 doctor said Def only a cyst. Nope 2 rare types kidney cancer. She had to go out of state to find out. Other friend was born with a heart defect and is 36. 36yrs of it .. her pacemaker went out and she needed a new one. Her new cardiologist told her her heart problems only exist due to her current weight. Um.. no. I was in a head on with a semi and on a scan they could tumors in my kidneys, ovaries lungs and into my lymph nodes along my lungs. Doc called and told me thw scan was clear. Nothing on it... is it not concerning since my dad died of 2 types of cancer and my mom had cancer? They post test results and when u go back on a couple days later they're changed. I have severe arthritis in my hands at 46 but the radiologist said my hands r fine so the nurse called and told me they are fine so I go in and ask them in person and rheumatologist looks and tells me no it's severe through my hands and fingers. "They just don't think that's important so they don't put it in the results" doc says.. um they're testing me for lupus it's important. It happens all the time. I can't imagine what she went through! This woman is strong! Bless her!!! And this so amazing for her!! What a beautiful soul!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

    I was working 70 hours very week for the past 5 months. My worst habit was "I'll brush my hair tomorrow. I don't have time today". Well tomorrow finally happened tonight watching your videos. I lost all hope with my hair. I just kept adding hair tie after hair tie. I had to cut them out. My hair was in a matt on top of my head. I loved my hair. It was down to my butt. I had dyed it my favorite color in hopes to keep it healthier because I wanted to show it off. I stopped talking to my friends because I was embarrassed and didn't want to hang out with them. I almost shaved my head peak depression. But I found your videos and it gave me hope again. I'm on hour 1 of many I'm sure lol Thank you for giving me something I haven't had in a long time. Hope ❤️

People could just cut the hair and avoid the trouble/time/cost of going to a salon, but there are stories in there that need to be processed and witnessed. And there is a lot of good hair - why not go through the trouble to reclaim what you can.

I have literally filed police reports abd called the cops on drs and 1 male nurse. Take an advocate and record everything. It's bad out there.

    I rarely comment, but I had to pause to share that I was in an accident with my dad as he was taking me to work. There was a plethora of issues with the both of us in which we could have died if my mom hadn't been as amazing as she is. I was in and out of conciousness after the doctors fixed my bones and my mom told me that I was complaining of stomach pains that they dismissed as a bruised spleen. I ended up having to have half of my intestines removed as well a few days after they had burst because they missed it the first time and wouldn't check until my mom firmly put her foot down and made them spring into action. There is a MAJOR ISSUE with people not taking us as black people seriously, but I feel that the health industry is a little more important for us to focus on. People's lives are at stake! I am SO GLAD that this lovely lady is still here and I pray that she continues fighting strong. She seems to have a beautiful spirit and I'm happy that her prayers were answered. @@gurubhaikhalsa9337 yeah it does, but your intestines do most of the bulk of digestion. If her small intestines were destroyed or removed, she will have low energy because she doesn't have the nutrients she need to live healthier. So B12 is a fraction. B12 is basically there to have to aid the digestion of folic acid.
      She basically had a prolapse. Like the doctor, nurses, and whomever that was there were incompetent.
      She had necrosis (death of tissue) with her small intestines. The small intestines that are destroyed she's gonna feel tired. She's not getting the nutrients from her food to get inside her cells for energy.

    Wow. You’re a miracle worker. She is beautiful. In the process of detangling my own matted 4c hair, and these videos are so motivating, just knowing that I’m not alone and there are compassionate empathetic caring people like you who understand. I can’t do too much at a time, so it’ll probably take me at least another week to finish, but I’ve got this! And to anyone else out there reading this who are in the same position, you’ve got this too!

      I've seen people on RUclips untangle dread locs after 8 years. Start with dipping the ends in hot water if you can. Try Ambunu leaves,it's an African shampoo and detangler. Try some detangling sprays and something with marshmallow root. I use Curl Peace prepoo detangler because it contains marshmallow root. I have to comb out my hair because it's been over two months. Good luck. I hope that helps!

      @@lashawnjones1503 I have 4c hair and went four months without washing but once a month I would comb out dead hair! If people with dreads can comb them out after 8 years then yours is a possibility! It may take you three months and a few hours a day but I bet you can do it! I would do it alone because it will probably be very emotional at times for you because it will time consuming! I would try one small section first using the end of a rattail comb, detangling products and hot water! God bless and stay strong!!

    • @shalombereshiyth

      @lashawn Jones take it one day at a time. Add lots of conditioner and spend an hour per day working out side of the ball with the back end of a rat tail comb. When you get that part out, keep it separate in a scrunchie or Bantu knot. Keep going every day until you are done

    That's a wonderful lady to want to help others with hair situations like this. I left my cornrows up for two months and almost cried trying to get the matted hair undone. It took me 8 hours and i now know i got a 1 month limit.
    That happened to my grandma, she went back to work too soon and her guts fell out. I hope she sued that dang hospital to cover the medical cost/emotional problems she dealt with

    She has such a soothing voice and awesome life story. When she said miracle baby, she wasn't lying. Great work on the hair - but all those passes with the flat iron 😬.

    • @addiegraves3
      @addiegraves3 2 года назад +1

      I noticed all those passes with the flat iron too although I can't speak to straightening black hair that's been matted. I was taught to move the iron down my hair at a slower pace not too slow of course, never stopping in one spot always using a comb infront of iron as it passes down the section of hair "You have to move slower to get done faster" meaning one pass on the lowest heat setting possible smaller thinner sections using proper protective products before and after. Styling it this way vs. multiple fast passes,higher heat, thicker sections of hair just slows you down while causing more damage in the long run. This is just my two cents worth 🙂

    • @grannyklampit1710
      @grannyklampit1710 2 года назад +2

      @@addiegraves3 the matting is irrelevant because it was already detangled. Coily hair tends to be fine and more easily damaged. If you noticed, the section was completely straight and she kept going over it, which isn't good for any type of hair.
