This was so, so magical. Nature is home. I totally agree. Do this stuff now. I'm 70 and active, but really cannot do stuff like that any more. So glad I backpacked and hiked and traveled abroad and camped most of my life because it is such a great wealth of memories! Thank you for sharing this very special experience with us.
100 %!! Excellent storyteller, videographer and adventurer! I see a "Marty Stouffer" kind of future....I would have watched that man boil water..... Excellent video Linnea! Thank you for sharing your awesome trip!
@@tameraholland6347I absolutely agree! Your storytelling, you narrating , your appreciation of nature is matched by none. Without a doubt this is the VERY BEST video I have ever seen. I am sharing it with many . Thank YOU for sharing it with us ❤❤
You ARE living in the real world, Linnea. We're all out here just trying to get to the place where you have found such beauty and peace. Please keep making these wonderful videos because they take me to a very happy place.
You are a beautiful storyteller! National geographic needs to hire you to produce a narrate their videos! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful adventure!❤
Yep Linnea, YOU are more in touch with reality than most people who say you are running away from it. I mean, the human population and it's 'creations' are minuscule compared to the expanse of nature which comprises the whole of the world and the universe beyond. Thank you for sharing this experience. It is wonderous.
Linnea, I highly recommend a book entitled, The Survival of Jan Little by John Man. She lived in the uncharted Amazon rainforest in northern Brazil, back in the 1970s. It's a fascinating true story of what this woman endured. I think you might enjoy reading it since your trip. 🙂 As a 61-year-old widow, I enjoy watching ALL of your videos! I have a rescued, female Husky mix, Sunshine, and I love watching Akela and seeing similarities in their personalities. I love the bloopers that you sometimes put at the end of your videos. I can relate to your mom in many ways and enjoy it when she is in your content. I feel your hurt and loss when you speak of your dad because I lost my husband who was my childhood sweetheart. For those who can't get out and travel or live an adventurous life, you offer that for us through your videos. So thank you! Never mind what the critics say. It's your life. You only get one to live. So live it as you so desire. You don't owe anyone any explanations for the life you've chosen. I wish the best for you and Chris!
You know, the Amazon rainforest has been “charted” by indigenous people for a long time now, thousands of years ago it was indigenous groups that created the Amazon, that’s the reason there’s ice cream bean trees and Brazil nut trees everywhere, and why there’s geometric shapes and structures and pyramids and irrigation/ farming areas in the amazon, we just didn’t know this until recently
Oh my gosh ... people are so crazy ... you ARE living in the real world. Nature is the REAL world. Thank you for sharing this video. It is so amazing to see all of these incredible creatures. ❤😍
oh man that took me right back...........i first went to the amazon in the 1980's and then in 2008 and 2009 i stayed learning from some indigenous peoples and living with them. I cried on and off for 6 months after i left because i missed the nighttime noise and smells and the wonderful smiles and songs so much. It really is the most alive place on this beautiful mother we live on
Am I watching natgeo? Cause the quality of this video is elevated af. Well done, and so fascinating. I love when I'm in the field with like-minded people like this, just such a warm and fulfilling vibe to be a part of.
Amazing!! Such a great job. You'll have a job with Nat Geo before long, seriously. Would love a live or Q&A video so we can ask questions. And tell you what we liked about it, of course. My list is long 😁
A purely inspirational AMAZON RAINFOREST Masterpiece ✨️ incorporating the perfection of mindfulness, humor, beauty, relaxation, community, peacefulness, adventure, excitement, anticipation, care, respect, education, safety, balance, freakyness, and bravery. A Breath Of Life with an ever increasing, intreaging, and easy to understand philosophical point of view. A Breath Of Fresh air that is sure to raise your Endorphans ✨️ level, that is, if you allow your mind to immerse itself into a new realm of thinking by living inside this Exceptional Masterpiece in the Amazon which is produced by Linnea. Thank you, Linnea, for providing this rare and beautiful opportunity for me that allowed me to live out an adventure that was mysteriously connected with your adventure.
I HEAR YOU, Jaime! I'm unsure why I liked your comment. Your far-fetched notion suggesting to immerse yourself into this dark enchanted rainforest sounds like a Disney movie gone wrong. 😆 This Creepy🐍🕸 and slightly better than awesome Amazon Rainforest vlog gives me the creeps, and if you ask me it is Merited to belong under lock and key 🔐 in a Nat Geo vault where it's origin can fester not, but where it can live out the life it so deserves. Your borderline ego suggesting ideological theories underscores the attention behind your understanding, and it is being downplayed in strengthening the empowerment for humankind. You may want to back off on your tactics because you may or may not be putting your readers through a similar level of agony of reverse psychology 😉 that you may or may not also be putting your own self through. Have a Goddess day! This is me, Jay
I totally agree with what you were saying about that adventure not being “escaping reality”. All those breath taking sights and nature and beautiful places here on earth IS reality and we are so lucky to get to experience all of it. Running away to VR or video games or whatever(you know what I mean) isn’t the place to go. Go experience something truly life-changing anywhere in the world. That’s not escaping reality, it’s embracing it. (Sorry if that sound a little cheesy, but it’s true😉😅)
Also Linnea, I hope that this adventure and new experience has helped you! As you said somewhere in the video, you could feel a bunch of weight getting lifted off your shoulders just from being with your kind of community and getting to thrive in where you feel best. So happy for you!💚
My mother always told me home is where the heart is, and watching many of your amazing videos has shown me your a young woman who loves her life living in a van, this is your true calling for you in your life, you do not have to explain yourself to those who do not identify with the life you chose for you 👍❤
Wonderful storytelling!! Our souls tell us where we should be, who we should be with, where our "home" is........we just need to listen!!! Thank you for the extraordinary travel!!!! Safe travels!!!!
Gurrrl that was amazing !! Those snakes and croc the first night...wheeee... And the butterflies dancing around, so pretty. ❤ (Got my patreon sticker today😉) Sadly only 36% of the rainforest exists...
Your video took me back to a time in my life when I was more adventurous, solo travelling around the world with just a backpack. In recent years, I have felt myself shrink away from challenges like this, as the weight of various events in my life has slowly worn me down. I love to be outside, but I admit I find myself seeking it out less and less often. What a wonderful reminder of the inherent healing properties of nature, of simply existing within nature and allowing it to flow into you, and perhaps dislodge some of those limiting beliefs that have crept in. Thank you for sharing your trip and your philosophies on life with us!
OMG this is breath taking. I understand why it took a bit to make this unbelievably beautiful video. The sounds alone are so peaceful made me tear up. It is soooooo true when u have just what you need life is so uncomplicated you have the time to really see it. Thank you 💚
This is just... wow. Being a fly on your shoulder was amazing during this one. Thank you for sharing, I hope that creating this after your struggles upon returning has helped with the healing process. Still have tingles! Sending lots of love from NZ xx
Good for you, getting so much living in to your young life. You have had more experiences and created more memories than most people will do in a lifetime. Your level of courage is something that most people can not conceive of. Thank you for sharing a glimpse with us.
Oh, young lady, i so much loved this video. I thank God for all adventurous people like you who record their trips especially like the Amazon so that us not so fortunate people can see its beauty. Thank you Linnea!!❤
My goodness why would anyone say that not being in deep nature is not reality? It is the ultimate reality! Such an amazing video seeing it through your eyes makes it more special! ❤
Awesome. As a musician and sound practitioner I want to thank you for really giving space for all the wonderful sounds you experienced, a real treat indeed! 😃🙏
Stunning cinematography, as usual. Your imagery has gotten to such a level over the last few years. And I love the variety of images- minute details to broad vistas. I love doing the same with my photography. And your narration has always been top notch, and so insightful and inspirational. Love it!!

This was definitely worth the wait and I can see why it took you some time afterward you returned to settle back in. I think I said "holy shit" like 50 times while watching this. You've given me hope...I just wish I were 30 years younger & reminded that dreams are possible back when I was your age, but at 56, I pray that in a few years, I can be living in my van, exploring the mid west and abroad, like you. Thank you for the beautiful videos, scenery, sunsets, and sunrises, the wildlife, and your amazing insights!
Thank you so much for sharing....both the video and your thoughts. I feel the same way about all the creatures in this beautiful world. The sights and sounds and the way you capture them, along with your thoughts and insights? Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Your editing is top-notch. One can’t help but to be totally drawn in to your story. Thank you so much for sharing. It was worth the wait! That ending was something else. Natures music ❤️
What a video. That has to be one of my favorite Linnea videos. It was totally worth the wait for your great editing. I can't imagine the memories you made there that the camera couldn't do justice. Thank you for the video
This was truly wonderful! Thank you for sharing your amazing trip! How dare anyone lecture you about reality..... ohmygoodness, you are about as real as it gets! You are an amazing photographer, videographer. I love the way you take on the World!
I know some people mentioned the handling of the wildlife...as a previous fisheries biologist and wildlife technician there is a need to handle wildlife to be able to take metrics and check the health of the specimen and ensure the continuation of those rare or unknown species. I would love to send my daughter out on an adventure of this caliper...I just don't think her inability to deal with change or strangers would make it enjoyable. One thing I do with her is go around to areas here in Idaho showing her the flora and fauna of our different biomes. My biggest teacher has been nature and as I always say, 'grab a field guide book and just start looking'. Beautiful video Linnea!
Wow! Just wow! The sounds alone bring my soal peace and center my head and heart. What an amazing experience. One to be cherished for a lifetime! Good for you, girl!
I loved the night exploring that I did in Ecuador but it was only one night. Your doc inspires me to go back to the Amazon and spend more time there. The diversity of animals that you saw is incredible! The fer de lance was especially amazing and so thrilling that you got close enough to record!
Cool that you start with the night section in the rainforest, it is the most interesting and hence my favorite time out there. Living in a city is escaping from EARTH reality. Cheers.
I waited to watch this one until I could give it all my attention. It did not disappoint. And nature truly is “home” and not concrete jungles. Great video.

Thank you, as always I’m truly grateful ✌️❤️
What an exquisite adventure ❤️
Wow! Just wow! The sounds alone bring my soal peace and center my head and heart. What an amazing experience. One to be cherished for a lifetime! Good for you, girl!
The experience of a lifetime, for sure.

Beautiful video, and I absolutely loved the ending!
Thank you!
Absolutely mesmerizing video with your voice over!! Loved it!!
I loved the night exploring that I did in Ecuador but it was only one night. Your doc inspires me to go back to the Amazon and spend more time there. The diversity of animals that you saw is incredible! The fer de lance was especially amazing and so thrilling that you got close enough to record!
Brilliant video. Brilliant narration.
The shot at 23:16 is like a renaissance painting. And when the snake was next to his snake tattoo. So beautiful
I don't know what to say, wauw! What a beautiful message and a wonderful video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool that you start with the night section in the rainforest, it is the most interesting and hence my favorite time out there. Living in a city is escaping from EARTH reality. Cheers.
You are a brave soul and in your element. As far as home and stability goes. I believe home is where your heart resides.. always follow your heart! 🤩
