      @@GreenDistantStar Tbh, it's really not simply "possible" .. it's truly a matter of FACT. No human has played golf anywhere NEAR the level, or for the duration and at the consistency of Prime Tiger Woods.
      His records speak for themselves.
      How much fewer games to hold those records speaks for themselves.
      Really from his Junior career in the mid 90's, all the way up til 2009, he was really on another level from Everyone. And even after 2009, and all his personal life's issues, he still returned to Crazy Tiger dominance AGAIN in the 2011/2012 time period. It wasn't until after 2014 that his "tiger advantage" started to fade. And even then, he still won some tournaments and even another Major.....and doing so with a one leg and a terrible back.
      Yeah, there's little doubt that Tiger Woods is the Greatest to ever pickup a club.

      @@willstuart4504 I'm inclined to agree with you, but I do hear the voices from the Nicklaus fan club. Nicklaus' performances over time were astounding, such as his placings in Majors and other tournaments. Much of Jack's career wasn't filmed, but those who witnessed it will attest to his dominance. And we should never forget Byron Nelson's 1945 effort. 18 wins in 31 tournaments, 11 in a row, a record unlikely to be equalled.

      @@GreenDistantStar True... and all great points.
      I do believe it's the "who was better debate, when dealing with Legends of different eras"
      It's always easier for fans, myself included, to believe the Legend they grew up watching must be the GOAT. When in reality, we actually don't know who really is the GOAT just opinions? I'm certainly guilty of this .....
      I think what makes these debates so interesting is the passion of fans all opining on their favorite players and what makes them believe they're the true GOAT. It's actually a perfect opportunity to learn a bit about the Players of Yesteryear, if we are not too pig-headed to actually listen. 😓 Something I'm also guilty of at times.

Those who watched him will tell you that if he could have putted better, he'd have been shooting 59 every week. His match against Sam Snead in the Shell series is amazing. Have a great day mate.

    He was the greatest golfer when he was at his best, that is true. This was the greatest tournament performance ever played, that is true. However, nobody has more 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, or top 10 finishes in majors than Jack. Jack is still the greatest of all time because he was able to stay at the top for so long. It's unfortunate Tiger messed up his body, otherwise, he would have likely been the best of all time. He is the second best of all time.

    • @vincew4297
      @vincew4297 2 года назад +6

      Jack’s the most accomplished yes, but he’s not the greatest of all time in my opinion. It’s not just about majors or finishes. Bill Russell has 11 NBA Titles but nobody confuses him to be the best player of all-time either. Margaret Court had 24 women’s tennis titles with a similar runner up record as Jack but nobody said she was the best all time, people considered that to be Steffi Graf until Serena came along passed her 22 titles. Tiger has the lowest scoring average in PGA History, along having the highest winning percentage in history, as well being tied for the most wins ever PGA wins ever at 82. It’s Tiger in my book

    • @BAA3595
      @BAA3595 2 года назад

      @@vincew4297 can't compare team sport to golf which is individual sport. Also, nobody claims Margaret Court was the greatest ever. You can find ton of golf historians that will argue jack was the greatest of all time however. I'm not saying you can't argue tiger was the greatest of all time. I think it's very close who was the greatest but in my book considering everything including longevity, jack was the greatest ever with tiger a close second. But we can agree to disagree. Take care.

      @vincew4297 2 года назад +1

      @@BAA3595 that was my point Margaret Court had the most titles ever for a very long time but nobody considers her the greatest ever. Longevity plays a factor, but considering era and competition I say it’s easily Tiger but like you said we’ll agree to disagree

    • @BAA3595
      @BAA3595 2 года назад

      @@vincew4297 my point in response was that very few claim she is the greatest ever BUT with good reason many claim Jack to be the greatest ever. If Tiger didn't destroy his body, he would have been the greatest ever. Unfortunately, he was only the greatest for certain period of time.

    • @vincew4297
      @vincew4297 2 года назад

      @@BAA3595 I’m just saying if Jack and Tiger had the same amount of majors would you still claim Jack was the greatest? My point about Margaret Court was that simply having the most majors doesn’t make you the greatest. He’s outdone Jack in Wins, Win Percentage, and Lowest Scoring average all of which are the best of all-time the only things he’s behind in is majors and we know that’s been due to injuries
