I only took a quick look...the blue is correct, they did a bunch of quirky "70's" colors with the TR6 (including 12 different blues). I've only seen that purplish blue a couple times. They did have trim rings around outer part of the wheels, otherwise the wheel should be primery/steel/silver..the only error that I noticed was the earlier style Monza gas cap (which is also turned the wrong direction).
I had a 70 I believe back in the mid to later 70's. It was a marron redish..pretty color with the chrome rings in the wheels.. also it had the Michelin Red line sidewalls. Also a Walnut steering wheel and gear shift knob.
love the TR6 at the beginning of this episode. I know that the example cars that they show at the beginning of each episode are beautiful and top notch but not always all original. so just wanted to know if the blue was an original factory color. Love the wheels too (primered-look rather than the polished outer rim (or were those trim rings?)
