As a south korean who lived near DMZ, (DMZ was 30 minutes away from my home.) He wasn't in North korea, He was in South korea. Even, he wasn't in DMZ. Civilians are not allowed to enter there except for some special cases. But yeah, he was in near the DMZ. he might have been in the Civilian Control Zone, CCZ. Because he had to give his passport to the border officials (but I am not sure.)
So, the border that he crossed is not real. If he really crossed the border without permission, He would have been shot by the North korea army.
And It might be illegal to film North korea in there without permission because there might be military facilities there and It is illegal to flim some North korea's facilities. so in there, you can only take pictures in permitted areas.
(I am not sure if he obeyed the law or not...😂 but I believe that he flimed a video in the permitted areas)

- tour guide collects your passport for dmz ticket entrance on the bus
- 2 south korean soldiers will board your bus to check your identity + passport at dmz zone
- he bought north korean won at imjingak tourist centre
- the many soldiers scene was at the 3rd tunnel. You cant film the inside of 3rd tunnel.

Just a reminder that there’s no way to cross the border from south to north, the DMZ is just the closest you can get to the north when you’re in the south, but you can’t enter the territory like that. Also the DMZ is pretty much just a tourist thing
That's not true. The border between north and south Korea is in the middle of the DMZ. Depending on the current political situation you are allowed to get inside those houses/ tents that are built directly on the border. Once inside U can cross over to the North Korean part of the building. I've been there and crossed the border. Korean/American soldiers will be with you all the time. They tell U the door to the North is open but if U step out you are on your own

As a south korean, I served in the military for a year and a half at Paju. (3th Battalion, 12th Regiment of 1st Infantry Division)
In the vid, this man went to Paju where I’ve been on border guard.
Actually Paju is very very super important place to protect because it’s a shortcut to NK when invading SK(Seoul).
The most powerful armed forces are now placed at DMZ(border).

My family lives in a state near the boarder called pa-ju in Korea. My uncle was driving one summer 15 years ago near the highway where the boarder was and he points to the other side of the heavy barb wired boarder. I looked up confused thinking is that military land like Area 51? Sent chills down my spine when he points to these skinny little buildings that were on the mountain and he goes “ on that side where you see those small buildings up there, that is North Korea”
