- Well since no one bothers to upload this version of the boss theme, let alone an extended version, I decided to take it upon myself to do it for anyone that was searching for an extended version of this song like me.
So here it is at last, an extended version of Koloktos/Moldarach's boss theme the SLOW VERSION! Moldarach's theme for its entire battle and Phase 1 for Koloktos's boss battle. Not the fast version that is ONLY played in Phase 2 of Koloktos's battle. A version everyone regularly uploads and loops.
Skyward Sword had better boss fights than Breath of the Wild.
So did most of the series.
Yeah, and although I liked calamity Ganon better than Demise, I definitely liked many other bosses from Skyward Sword better than those from BOTW

i walked into the bossroom like '' man this was an awsome dungeon, probs a shit boss tho, always happens in this game, something great only to be fucked by something cringe''. but holy shit koloktos was one of the best fights for a standard dungeon i think in zelda history. and this theme is the icing on the cake

Better than Phase 2, IMO. This has better buildup and kind of leaves you feeling the suspense of the battle. But damn, Koloktos is probably one of the best bosses in any Zelda game, hands down.
I wish someone would upload the actual phase 1 Koloktos music. It's basically this, but no drums or brass, and I think it fits phase 1 of that fight much better. Plus, it makes it even cooler when the fast version comes in and adds the drums and horns.
I use this as my dueling music on the Yugioh online dueling program, YGOPro. When one player is at a disadvantage, it changes to the fast version. ^.^
I didn't even know this played during Moldarach's fight. Maybe because I was just screaming in fear of it killing me, because I forgot to bring potions....

Of the few different composers who worked on this game, this track is definitely Mahito Yokota's work.

If "Zelda" were to be movies in the old days I can see the Koloktos battle with said robot in Harryhausen animation and how "Link" uses the whip on the turnkeys similar to how the cowboys lassoed the dinosaur in "The Valley of Gwangi".

Moldarach was the easiest zelda boss i ever fought, beat him in literally 1 minute 40 seconds on my first playthrough
My brother did it in 20 seconds, lol.
I call bullshit on the 20 seconds on first try. Your sword simply doesn't do enough damage to bring it down in that time. With the Master Sword that time is pushing it as well, but SEEMS to be more doable
I actually just said a number, I could see the actual time but I'm too lazy for that, I just remember that my brother did it in one cycle.
Moldarach doesn't have cycles. She just has a bunch of attacks that she uses randomly.
So it's down to RNG whether or not you defeat her quickly?
I've been waiting for someone to make this. Also, I think most people prefer the Phase 2 version because the instrumentation is louder and/or a bit heavier, which makes it sound more epic. The only thing Phase 1 really has going for it is the epic intro. I don't see why someone doesn't just edit together Phase 1's intro with a slower version of Phase 2. Nintendo probably could have done that as a soundtrack extra or something; in fact, they probably should've done that in first place.

although I prefer the phase 2 music, I would like one for phase one. it's basically this, but without the drums. it's not too important, but I would just like to see it in some way on RUclips.

i found that even though moldarach deals 1 heart (or 2 in hero mode) every time he tries to attack, the moves look very weak. when he swipes w/ his tail, it looks like he is just throwing sand in your face or a quater of 1 heart when he swipes. honestly he wasnt the best boss.my favourite boss would have to be either girahim 3 or koloktos

ya lo estoy jugando voy en la region zora xd y esta chido pero le falta algo no se que creo que mas accion ocarina of time es el que mas me conmovio de todos
Diría que le falta ese algo que son las dungeons largas (las bestias divinas te las pasas fácil en menos de 1 hora), variedad de bosses (Ira de Ganon todo el rato no mola) y mas profundidad en los personajes, los cuales creo que están algo desaprovechados en el sentido de que a pesar de no ser mala historia, la poca duración de las misiones de las bestias divinas hacen que luego simplemente dejen de tener presencia el resto del juego.
