Unfortunately, still can be heard interference from my smartphones camera. Even tried to move as far as possible away.

Without decent antenna probably no chance. Anyway, as Autumn is coming and propagation conditions for LW and MW will get better, I have some plans to build some loops.

I would say less or more equal on sensitivity, but Panasonic has more interesting one knob tone control with soft / news / music positions. And by adjusting it in the right spot, depending on situation sound can be more pleasant to the ear.
