  • One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson has questioned “where” the skilled migrants are in Australia.
Ms Hanson joined Sky News Australia to discuss whether the country’s migration levels should be reduced.
“Between 2022 and 23, 737,000 migrants came into the country,” she said.
“51,605 were of the skilled category - of that, only 1,800.
“That’s 0.4 per cent of 1 per cent were actually in the building trade industry, so go figure - where are skilled migrants?”

Both Liberals and Labor stopped helping any Australian who wanted to learn a trade or a skill. No investment into these areas was made for decades.

I am a skilled migrant and I agree with Pauline. The country is buckling under the incessant tide of arrivals who want to call Australia home putting rents and housing prices sky high. This destroys the quality of life for everyone including the new migrants. Just look at Canada, their irresponsible and easy migration program has made a once great country with the highest living standards unlivable for the old and new residents alike. Labour and left parties need a large underclass of welfare dependent voters to survive but at the expense of a thriving and wealthy society. It is time to put away bigoted views of Pauline and people who support her in the interest of a better future for Australians.

I find it curious that the descendants of the intelligent, resourceful and hard working folc (Anglo-Gaelic folc) who were the social/cultural architects and actually built this once great nation seem to now be incapable of maintaining, or indeed expanding on that which their ancestors gifted them.
Did we suddenly become, as a group, stupid OR was our society, and in particular our education system, hijacked and rendered increasingly dysfunctional to the point where we were then presented with a narrative of needing "skilled" migrants, migrants who invariably are anything other than skilled? Asking for a mate...
We seem to be at a cross-road, something of a great awakening, where the veil of lies is slipping to slowly reveal the ugliness, insanity and indeed the pure evil of that which cowers behind.

INFRASTRUCTURE AUSTRALIA 10 YEARS AGO said Australia is 20 years behind in enough infrastructure to support the current population AND WE WILL NEVER CATCH UP! The problem is being compounded by ageing assets, rising road congestion, public transport crowding and growing demands on so-called “social infrastructure”, such as schools, hospitals and parks, as more people move into cities. The IA report warns that in order for Australia to cope with a forecast population of 31.4 million people in 15 years’ time - an increase of 23.7% - spending on infrastructure will need to remain at about $40bn a year. Yep, but these guys are asking more money than us local Aussies. A cleaner is $40 per hour and he said "cash". My sis works in a bank and is paid $40 per hr but she pays her tax and has uni degree and professional qualification. These guys come in and ask for $40 within a couple months. Usually they're on "student visa" but they're studying in some unknown college. I know many uni students, there are here to study and do give a lot in terms spending money for education, food and accomodation. They don't take any aussie jobs. It's those going to unknown college that is using the "student visa" but working over what they are allowed.

I think it's not just the "skilled" migrates. There are too many people who overstayed their tourist visa and working without having the right visa. I'm migrant background and migrants I know are all educated wealthy migrants. But last couple yrs I met many who has been hear for 3-5 years and they can't even speak a word of English. I got a company to update a home, and when I visited the site, I met these guys. I wonder if they are legal workers. Even though they can't speak English, their fee is high. One of these workers also tried to con me into buying substandard tiles and charging me normal aussie price. When I gone to the shop looked at the tiles, the guy said it's $49 per m2, I said no straightaway. I went on to buy something from a bigger shop and choose a nice tile at $69 per m2. Later I found out their trade price is $20 per m2, so the foreign worker would have made the margin of $29 per m2 for substandard tiles.
At first I felt sorry for this guy because he was saying he was living in his car so I offered him to stay at my parents house for free while my parents are on holiday. But the guy ended up sleeping in not just the guest bed room but also slept in my parents bed. I was so upset and asked him to go. There's no point feeling sorry and helping this type of person.

One has to apply for a Skilled Assessment by producing a whole bunch of evidence and complete an Internationally conducted English proficiency test and even after fullfilling all the requirements you have to wait for ever without knowing if you ever be approved of. At the moment the top pirority is given to Health Care professionals who will eventually have to tolarate racism from uneducated ignorant people like you when they arrive on daily basis.

How do you communicate with me, the boss, and I have finished year 10?”, “You’ve two degrees in xx but you don’t meet our requirements because you don’t have a XX dip from TAFE.” and before any interview, your CVs were bounced back in 10 minutes and you found out later that your degrees were not acquired from an Australian uni. To say that the education sector makes a lot of money for Australia is a joke. It is true that our children pay astronomical sums of money to universities, while education for our prime minister was free. If royalties from gas exports were collected fairly, we could have free education. We are creating international multi-billionaires by exporting our raw materials and poor Australians by importing emigrants who do not want to work but will use Centrelink payments and thereby burden the state budget even more.

The disconnect between price and value! Why are the prices of homes in AUSTRALIA so RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE... AND SO FAR FROM WHAT THE AVERAGE WORKER CAN AFFORD.... AND SO POORLY BUILT....COMPARED TO OTHER PROPERTY AROUND THE WORLD.... in most European countries, YOU CAN PURCHASE A SMALL CASTLE FOR THE SAME PRICE AS A DOG BOX IN SYDNEY! G L O B A L I S M! Millions of dollars was and still is flowing into Australia competing against the average wage earner, to purchase a home. Outsourcing labour from a rich country to a country where labour is cheap to cut costs and maximise profits. Globalism has caused prices of goods and services to fall, big profit to companies, so the average punter gets cheap goods and the big companies make more profit. Where do the GLOBALIST spend their money .... ASSETS.... BUYING HOMES.....STOCKS.... this has caused an imbalance.
