I've seen this before. Look up the video voodoo lounging. Another leopard growling similarly. In both cases I wonder if they were around regular cats and heard them purr, and are just trying to imitate the sound and that's the best they can do.

Луна прекрасна - спору нет. Но Веня, это же просто супер собака! Это же ротвейлер, а никакой агрессии, спокойно ждёт еду, аккуратно берёт из рук. Кстати, ведь она приняла непосредственное участие в воспитании кошки.
У нас была такая, девочки просто золотые, с братом росла, потом сына мне с котом воспитали . Оба дружили, спали вместе, кот ей грел ножки 🐾Очень умные и добрые собаки. С мальчиками сложнее .
Есть знакомая ройтвеллерша. Если я ее на улице вижу, то ору шаабааааака, и хизяйка тупо бросает поводок, иначе поотрывает руки. Эта тушка срывается и летит "на ручки". Ройтвеллер запрыгнувший на руки как какая-то болонка, выглядит неожиданно. Особенно для окружающих.

Да, тяжело ей. У меня кошка с каждой течкой становилась агрессивнее. Потом начала на людей кидаться, ноги в кровь рвать. Стала опасно с ней, и муж усыпить хотел даже, так как у нас маленткие внуки. Но я не дала и решила рискнуть её стерилизовать, и это помогло, правда пили успокоительные с полгода. Ветеринар сказал, что это у них гормоны, вещь непредсказуемая по агрессии. А Луну прям жалко тоже, как ей тяжело в этот период! 😕 Постороннего то бы она точно скушала🤔
Это в тему о том, что животные не страдают во время течек. Страдают, только у всех проявляется по-разному. И не стоит забывать, что стерилизованные животные живут дольше, потому что у них нет гормональных перегрузок

What an awesome visit. Luna knew exactly who sister was and had no problem letting her near!!! All of her vocalizations sounded more like her just talking and purring at the same time and so it came out like a growl, I also didn’t take it as an authentic growl because her body language didn’t show fear or aggression. I didn’t realize you guys have an owl!!! It’s almost tiny in comparison to the other two, that’s for sure!!
There is no such thing as a panther. Panther is just a nickname. There is no species of panther cats. Any cat can be nicknamed panther based on looks, color etc.
WOW the lady guess has a lot of courage to touch Luna when she was growling. My heart felt to the ground to see those scenes. In the other hand Venza is so beautiful and smart showing Luna that the lady is a friend and welcome to the house.

Хотя "Мцыри" еще в школе... Но это было давно. Говорят... На Кавказе все темпераментные. Наверное. Ну чо? Удачи. Мы с Вами! Только что дошло. Кавказский барс и дальневосточный леопард - это вполне себе наши кошки. Только редкие. Самые прямые родичи Луны.

She also has a small crocodile and he was temporarily sharing the apartment with an owl as I understood, they were roommates 😅😅😅 They want to bring the crocodile here too, it will be great... 🙂❤️❤️❤️
I love these videos where Luna and Venza show their different personalities. Venza is such a dog, begging for treats, while Luna is the aloof cat, pretending to be brave but very skittish.

In the last video about Luna in estrus, they left her alone briefly in the aviary. Luna was sawing. That was amazing. I've never heard a leopard saw before that

Wow. Very different than last time Masha visited Luna. Masha was brave and calm. I don't think I would get so close to Luna when she grumbles like that. I wouldn't have guessed that during estrus is a good time to introduce yourself to a big cat. Chuny is beautiful

When we are nervous, our bodies excrete a scent which puts the animal on guard & takes it as a threat, then likely attacks FIRST. The scent is cortisol. VERY DANGEROUS to have anyone with fear around her at this time especially & ALWAYS. GREAT SISTER!!! ❤ 😹

My cats have taught me a lot about some behaviors I didn’t realize before but in cat world the female is much more adept to living within a colony and den … even though they can be exceptionally avid hunters if they are provided for then they will be more docile but it maybe different with a male in this species… other species maybe different like believe the Lion from The Wolf and the Lion was a male.. look up on RUclips the free movie on this true story that happened in Canada … just amazing the relationships that may not be natural in nature that occur because of circumstances

This was so fun, Vika... and Masha is wonderful too. She did so well with the babes. Luna likes her. She missed the golden opportunity when Luna was behind her curled up to her, looking for another pet from Masha..and Venza was in front, center stage. Venza loves Masha. haha.. And I love your owl I saw last week. Neat! I wondered if you had to feed your fantastic Owl real mice. eeeks. what about cut, fresh meat? I think you trained your Owl to also know how to get mice. Does your owl get enough attention? Oh... I now see Chunya. So incredible. Wonderful. And came right to Masha. Very smart bird. Animals like Masha, naturally, and she likes them... much like myself.
Good owners of owls keep them on mice and rat diet (usually sold frozen and get unfrozen before feeding), sometimes adding quail and/or one day chicken. Not sure about Chuny though😃
And rabbits...it amazes me how rabbits get overlooked. I have over 30 right...just butchered one today and had BBQ rabbit. What leopard, Rotweiller and owl would not like a rabbit??? And rabbits are super easy to keep and maintain...and they breed like rabbits. :-)

Leopards can't actually purr 😄. They are like tigers and lions. They roar but can't purr. All that noise you hear from her is her talking and complaining 😊
Leopards, tigers, lions, and I think Jaguars (pantera genus) can’t purr, but they can growl. All the other cats (pantera felice) can purr, but cannot growl.

Luna has a great motor when she purrs! Such fun to see her all loosy goosey rolling around and acting silly while in estrus! I love to see Luna and her best friend Venza enjoy each other's company!

Говорят что Сибирские леопарды весьма гостеприимны. В отличие от байкальских росомах и амурских тигров и тоже леопардов.

Только что дошло. Кавказский барс и дальневосточный леопард - это вполне себе наши кошки. Только редкие. Самые прямые родичи Луны.

I love these videos where Luna and Venza show their different personalities. Venza is such a dog, begging for treats, while Luna is the aloof cat, pretending to be brave but very skittish.
I've never in my life seen a cat pretend to be brave lol! that's funny..., I'd like to meet these cats haha.

Wow. Very different than last time Masha visited Luna. Masha was brave and calm. I don't think I would get so close to Luna when she grumbles like that. I wouldn't have guessed that during estrus is a good time to introduce yourself to a big cat. Chuny is beautiful

Oh! Not again already! Poor Luna. 😔 Your sister is brave! Wow! That growl from Luna didn't make her flinch! All animals can actually smell fear. When we are nervous, our bodies excrete a scent which puts the animal on guard & takes it as a threat, then likely attacks FIRST. The scent is cortisol. VERY DANGEROUS to have anyone with fear around her at this time especially & ALWAYS. GREAT SISTER!!! ❤ 😹

Вот что значит, когда животные растут в любви и ласке ! Они сами любящие и ласковые. Такого ротвейлера, как котёночка, я не встречал. А леопард просто киса... Если бы не рычала, а мяукала, то совсем была бы домашней киской.
Да. Но мне искренне жалко когда течка животное мучается.А на счёт любви ласки и заботы- за этим скрывается каждодневный огромный труд работа профессиональная ответственность за то что приручили.
Ну на фоне собак, Венза выглядит всё же устрашающе, но блин на фоне Луны - она просто миленький спаниель с добрющими глазами.

❤ I think it is because of her mom and her sibling … I think she just knows they are her family! My cats have taught me a lot about some behaviors I didn’t realize before but in cat world the female is much more adept to living within a colony and den … even though they can be exceptionally avid hunters if they are provided for then they will be more docile but it maybe different with a male in this species… other species maybe different like believe the Lion from The Wolf and the Lion was a male.. look up on RUclips the free movie on this true story that happened in Canada … just amazing the relationships that may not be natural in nature that occur because of circumstances

I wondered if you had to feed your fantastic Owl real mice. eeeks. what about cut, fresh meat? I think you trained your Owl to also know how to get mice. Does your owl get enough attention?
Oh... I now see Chunya. So incredible. Wonderful. And came right to Masha. Very smart bird. Animals like Masha, naturally, and she likes them... much like myself.
Good owners of owls keep
them on mice and rat diet (usually sold frozen and get unfrozen before feeding), sometimes adding quail and/or one day chicken. Not sure about Chuny though😃
And rabbits...it amazes me how rabbits get overlooked. I have over 30 right...just butchered one today and had BBQ rabbit. What leopard, Rotweiller and owl would not like a rabbit??? And rabbits are super easy to keep and maintain...and they breed like rabbits. :-)

Leopards can't actually purr 😄. They are like tigers and lions. They roar but can't purr. All that noise you hear from her is her talking and complaining 😊
Leopards, tigers, lions, and I think Jaguars (pantera genus) can’t purr, but they can growl. All the other cats (pantera felice) can purr, but cannot growl.
