I totally disagree with you on Nancy Pelosi, I loved her pastel dress and on the other side I thought Trumps dress looked to tight on top because of the fabric twist.
Although I am not a fashion designer, I have worked in the design world for the majority of my life, so it occurs to me that I may not be the only person who did not care for the Princess of Wales, arrival gown. While she is stunningly beautiful and rarely makes a fashion miss step, the Elie Saab gown was matronly and the sleeves were too much detracting from the more interesting details on the bodice. She appeared swallowed by the amount of fabric and details. The hue suited her well. Likewise, the gown worn by Queen Rania, while perfectly fitted to her fine figure and a symbolic colour of their nation, was matronly, boring and oddly non celebratory to my eyes. She is a beautiful queen.
I agree that Catherine's daytime dress swallowed her because, while beautiful, it was intricately designed and looked heavy. You make an excellent point that the sleeves were too busy and basically drew attention away from/competed for the attention of the design of the bodice. The sleeves were too long, as well, so a shorter sleeve without a design would have been perfect. Seeing as the dress came up on her neck, I think it would have looked better had she worn her hair up especially considering she wore such large earrings. I also agree with you about Queen Rania's black dress. I was completely underwhelmed!
@@tooma4886 Thank you for your supportive comments--especially since the first commentator was rude. (They are after all just opinions.). I see that other woman didn't wear long sleeves and your suggestion of a different, lighter sleeve is a good point., as it would make for a much different feel. At first, I wondered if all the female guests wore long sleeves as a mark of modestly, so I went back and looked and there are other lighter sleeve styles amoung the ladies attending.
@@2615ParkAvenueAssociates ~ I wasn't suggesting a 3/4 sleeve or shorter, I was suggesting that the sleeve stop at the wrist. Aesthetically, it looks sloppy and un-tailored.

Looking at Nancy Peloisi's gown I can only say how lovely it is and how very pretty this 80 year old woman appears! It DOES NOT look "beachy"...whatever this narrator says. I was just stunned at seeing her and also Mrs. Biden and daughter....diplomatic relations I presume and Jordan is one country that has attempted to be "friends" HOWEVER Jordan can not get rid of Hezzbolah which is just a fancier and richer, Hamas...it seems that the "Royals" there are mere figureheads, but they hold a lot of money...
The narrator kept saying “for a Muslim country, the gown is blah blah” when in fact there is no issue about it since they are modern Muslim country, like Dubai. Stop making assumption on other countries when you don’t know anything.
Well the Biden's were invited and Trump needs to be kept quiet so his favourite daughter got an invite . Basically everyone hates Trump but they are scared of him too .
The word is spelled ceremony, not cerimony. Editing is important and something so simple to do. Not doing it makes you look lazy and amateurish. It also makes your unqualified negative fashion comments seem juvenile.

????????🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪👺👺👺👺👺👺PRINCESS CATHERINE WAS IF NOT THE VERY BEST ,ONE OF THE. BERY BEST DRESSED! .BUT I DO NOT SEE BETTER ON ANY ONE.(STOP YOUR LIES)
@@assuntapalano8805 You're welcome to your opinion but I disagree.
Wow! You sure don’t hold back, do you?
We’ll it’s a review 🙃 it’s ok to share on opinion. Would love to know what you think about the dresses…. Come on… favorites? Those who missed the mark? 😉😉😉
I didn’t see the princess of Thailand!!
Good lord, what is Ivanka and Jared doing there? Could they stay?
Looks like they were invited …..
Jordan being the most anti-Semitic country in the world, I can see your shock.
My thoughts as well, I also asked this question on here.
Apparently the guest list included grifters and creeps.
@@TheOtherBoleynGirl336. You must mean Pelosi?
Most Western gowns were mediocre, the Middle Eastern and Eastern gowns were spectacular
Raina’s beauty is only skin deep. She is a very jealous person. I feel sorry for her.
Source? 😮
Jill & Ashley Biden wore 2nd down! Not very pretty!
Ellie Saab not "eelie"
You are right, it’s ELIE Saab…
Who cares?
Looking at Nancy Peloisi's gown I can only say how lovely it is and how very pretty this 80 year old woman appears! It DOES NOT look "beachy"...whatever this narrator says. I was just stunned at seeing her and also Mrs. Biden and daughter....diplomatic relations I presume and Jordan is one country that has attempted to be "friends" HOWEVER Jordan can not get rid of Hezzbolah which is just a fancier and richer, Hamas...it seems that the "Royals" there are mere figureheads, but they hold a lot of money...
I didn't think it looked "beachy" either. And she looks really good for an octogenarian.
اكثر شخص سعيد بزواج هوه ايلي صعب 😂
The narrator kept saying “for a Muslim country, the gown is blah blah” when in fact there is no issue about it since they are modern Muslim country, like Dubai. Stop making assumption on other countries when you don’t know anything.
My vote goes to sheeik of Quater
She is breathtakingly beautiful.
What a shallow world we inhabit. People starving and all we care about material goods.
The best pie is Rhubarb
The only from from America, with beauty and class was Ivanka. Nancy Pelosi and Jill Biden looked as tacky and tawdry as ever, no shocker there.
Gross!
Why were Ivanka and Jared invited???
Why was Nancy Pelosi invited. She is a horrible human being. She is hated in the United States of America.
Well the Biden's were invited and Trump needs to be kept quiet so his favourite daughter got an invite . Basically everyone hates Trump but they are scared of him too .
I’ve heard of the bride wearing a different dress for the reception, but the guests too. It’s kind of excessive
The word is spelled ceremony, not cerimony. Editing is important and something so simple to do. Not doing it makes you look lazy and amateurish. It also makes your unqualified negative fashion comments seem juvenile.
Catherine please, not Kate.
Ivanka Trump was exquisite.
Cette robe de cérémonie drapée est très moderne dans sa coupe, très épurée et la traines est magnifique...
All of it too ostentatious for a country with Jordans difficulties.
