  • |HD| Sifu CLaudius Chen introduces Application of Kyusho Jitsu (Dim Mak) - Pressure point in Wing Tsun - Jeet Kune Do Close Combating and Self - Defence concepts - MMA (Mix Martial arts)
    / richuinternationalmart...
Self Defense Situations in this video: Hand - Wrist Grabbing Defense, Against Cross Single Collar Grab, Standing Rear Choke, Mental Nerve Pressure Point Choking from behind, Shirt Grab Defense, Neck Throat Grab Defense aka Front Choke Hold Escape, Standing Headlock Escape and others.
Joint locking techniques in this video: Wrist Locking, Crucifix Locking, Guillotine Choke, Arm Bar technique, Kimura Lock and other Pressure Point Choking Techniques.
Understanding why did Sifu Claudius Chen want to conduct the research on Pressure Points and Apply them to Jeet Kune Do concepts?
Sifu Claudius Chen is a practitioner of the next Jeet Kune Do generations. He did not create these Pressure Points and Joint Locking Techniques or try to create new form of combat. He just brings the art of Pressure Points - Kyusho Jitsu and combines with Jeet Kune Do concepts systems which is already researched by many people from previous generations. Ri Chu Jeet Kune Do which focus in researching and applying Pressure Point - Kyusho Jitsu to Jeet Kune Do in the most simple and effective aspects. Jeet Kune Do contains 5 ranges of fighting: Punching ranges, Kicking ranges, Trapping ranges, Grappling ranges and Ground fighting. Sifu Claudius Chen believes that not all aspects of Pressure Point can apply to all 5 ranges of Jeet Kune Do. He chose three main aspects of Kyusho Jitsu - Pressure Points. They are Pressing Point, Striking Points and Choking Points and they will be used at the most effective in Trapping Range and Grappling range of Jeet Kune Do for Close Quarter Combating. They also can be applied in some fundamental self defense situations like wrist grabs, collars or lapel & shirt grabs, neck throat grabs, headlock escape or other situations.
According to oriental medicine theory, some special people has very unique bones and muscles structure. Locating points and activate them on these people could be a little bit difficult. However as a JKD practitioner, we always have different options, if Pressure Points techniques does not work for some reasons with some people, we still have many techniques. RICHU JEET KUNE DO focus on Pressure Points And how to apply them in real life situation through Jeet Kune Do but it does not mean we do not research and practice on other styles of martial arts. Jeet kune do is simple, direct, practical and has no limitation. When Sifu Claudius Chen bring Pressure Points to apply in Jeet Kune Do, he wants to use them as a peaceful solution which is suitable for Australian communities as well as State Laws even some people may think that it is brutal. Sifu Claudius Chen wants to aims to weak points in combat which is enough to neutralize the opponents. Instead of attacking to groins, eyes ball, neck, pharynx, throat and other deadly points like other JKD practitioners which is tremendously dangerous. It is against the law of Australia if you accidentally kill someone or cause them terrible damages by self defense. Even when people attack you and you are victims. As you can see from this video, even one of the highest level techniques - Pressure Points Knocking Out techniques, we still have solutions to recover.
This note is sharing of Sifu Claudius Chen about why did Sifu Claudius Chen want to conduct the research on Pressure Points. It is also the laconically descriptions for the content of this video. The content of this video can be referred as an Introduction about Ri Chu Jeet Kune Do - Application of Kyusho Jitsu (Dim Mak) - Pressure points techniques In Wing Tsun - Jeet Kune Do Close Combating and Self - Defence concepts.
Note in 2022 and 2023: Please do not copy or testing any techniques of Jeet Kune Do pressure points - Kyusho Jitsu Dim Mak from this video or practice at home with other people. It is an introduction video, it is not a tutorial video with detail explanations about pressure points or how to activate them. It does not illustrate in detail the recovering stages after activating or striking points.

Many years ago, I trained in Wing Chun with a Chinese instructor (sefu we had to call him, spelling may be wrong though) his English name was Simon, he was a man of about five foot three tall, he said that he had trained with Bruce Lee in Hong Kong. He was so incredibly fast that his sleeves used to make the sound of a whip. One night we had two Karate black belts come to the dojo and they were really arrogant and sort of belittling of the art of Kung Fu, obviously my trainer was a little offended by this and so they were selected to be out front with him for a demonstration, he invited the two of them to try to hit him, he made them miss every time, he then demonstrated what he could do but he did not try to hurt them, he just showed that he could, it was fascinating to see, I only went for one year because I moved away from London and never tried to find another gym. That was back in the 70s but I was amazed by what this little man could do and he was so nice and courteous.

They have real moves and I love using pressure points, but they are exaggerating the effects of it, with timing and accurate strikes , it can definitely slow and numb your opponent but it is not what is going to be knocking them out or taking them down, you have to mix it with great basic moves.

Hi, I congratulate you, because finally I can see a video where there is a real practically of Jeet kune Do, at really high levels, and not a fanatic, well of course, as you know, in the noble martial arts, it never ends to learn, and rightly so, because, you have to insert variants, and evolve both from a martial and mental, spiritual point of view, continuously until you reach that inner perfection.
There are things in your technique that I really liked, I also practice and have a dojo where I teach, I would like to know where your school is, so that I can come and see you in a friendly way, I have read a lot of books on Jeet Kune do, competed, and got the first Dan , I also practice other styles, some books were kindly given to me by masters from Foshan who now live in Italy, precisely in Rome, where I, currently despite being an American, reside for professional reasons.
Ok! I subscribed to your RUclips channel and I will follow you, hoping you will answer me, in the meantime I wish you a good continuation of the day and good work.
    see you soon.

that technique is of paralysis when you use those 3 points to the nervous system you leave the opponent paralyzed so that it falls, that movements have to be fast and accurate, what he did after the teacher was to restore those points (nervous system or chakra) and he has to make it fast because if the individual cannot look bad, those points are called chakra

Have the other person fight back and then I might be impressed.
Pressure points are not impressive. Any decent fighter knows them and actively targets them

there had to be a negative somewhere, having trained inmartial arts for 35 years now i think generally speaking he was simply demonstrating where some pressurepoints are and its effectiveness, i do get your point though being its one thing to demonstrate and its another to pull it off in real combat.

Nice to see a Master share his secrets. Yeah, pressure points for sure! Over all the years I would mostly believe Bruce Lee had developed his abilities to a level to match up with any man. Then I would see a guy like OddJob and begin to wonder...are pressure points going to be available, to strike? Knowing Bruce Lee he'd probably find a way...?

Just to see it Master I regret not having done what I liked so much as a child, a cordial greeting to all those who know how to appreciate the beauty that inspired and lives in teachers as jobenes and simple as Him. (BRUCE LEE)

One Jeet Kune Do, who was his Sifu, another thing belt's instead of sashes and still yet, alot of the techniques were common techniques found in several styles of Karate.
