I use that sling on my Stihl trimmer and with a bad back it helps tremendously!!!
I know this isn’t the subject of the video, but while faster, this isn’t the best way to trim hedges and shrubs. It takes longer the first couple times, but then it doesn’t require trimming as often either.

Yeah, I'm enjoying that sling! What's the best way to trim hedges/shrubs?

I pondered over buying this for my gas powered trimmer. But in the end, the reviews and specs of the Makita 18v extended trimmer won! Not to mention I already have 18v Makita cordless tools.

Awesome, you still liking the Makita? Using this attachment does wear out the shoulders. Something lighter would be nice.

Impressive. Just bought the 330LK. A guy quoted me $350 to do our hedges. Uh, no.

@@a.j.williams195 It didn’t feel that close in real time, but when I was editing the video my palms started sweating. I put her up when I do it now haha.

It isn't recommended - but, I on occasion use the extension piece from the pole saw attachment with my trimmer plus hedge trimmers for some extra extra reach... can't compete with dedicated gas hedge trimmers - but I like and use the articulated trimmers for hard to reach hedges

Deal as in the cheapest. Which it was. But I wouldn’t buy a corded trimmer…hence this video.
