  • This is a first impression video of the Sunseeker MFT26I Hedge Trimmer Attachment coupled with Greenworks String Trimmer main unit, and a comparison with the Greenworks Hedge Trimmer Attachment.
p.s. Only after posting the video I realized that I'm referring to the model as mft261 instead of mft26i. Apologies...

Your video on this item was VERY informative. How is it holding up since you first made the video ? Do you use it often ?

      Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. The video was published about 6 months ago and since I've used the hedge trimmer attachment about 3-4 times for about half an hour each time. So far I'm loving it despite it's being a little top heavy.
      Hope it helps...

@@0nePerson Hello to you - Yes, that helps me - some of the reviews/ratings I read would have had me believe that the unit didn't last very long - usually a few days after the 30 day return window had passed. Thanks again.

Thanks, this helps! Hoping it's compatible with my Echo weed wacker (I would mount it directly w/o the extension). Can you tell me, what's the diameter of that extension pole, and also the size of square drive shaft? I see this trimmer on amazon, but can't find the info in their description and reviews. On my Echo, it's a 25mm pole and the drive shaft is 0.200" x 0.200". Thx for any help!

      Hi.
The diameters of the pole and drive shaft seem to be the same as your Echo's. The outer diameter of the pole is 25mm and the shaft is 5mm (roughly "0.2). Hope it helps.
      Good luck luck with that

Hi. I didn't look for any, so I haven't but Green works makes some that are meant to work with it. I hope you'll find what you're looking for.

Thanks for the great review! Have you greased the two nipples? I wonder how well greased they are from the factory.

      Hi friend.
If you're referring to the point of connection between the two poles, than I didn't grease them since they seem to be fairly greased from the factory.

Thank you for sharing, and are you still satisficed after 3 years?

    • @0nePerson

      Hi,
Aside the weight thing that I mentioned in the video which could be a little tough on the hands, I'm really happy with it. The other option would be to buy a shorter pole attachment, but then it would probably be to short for those high branches on the top of the hedge. So considering the options it's a very good compromise. Good luck with it.
