For the last 3 games Jayden Daniels has been Mr. Everything on offense. He's the pass game, he's the run game. His team sold on him that entire 4th qtr. The defense suddenly couldn't stop anything. The offensive line was blocking like they were made of ultra soft Charmin. Dumb penalties on both sides of the ball (Davis shouldn't even be allowed back in the locker room). Offensive lineman constantly holding and false starts putting the offense in 2nd and long, 3rd and long. Wiped a TD pass out from a holding call. Dropped pass by Zaccheus late in the 4th qtr when they're trying to drive into FG range, etc. With all of the pressure they put on that kid he came through anyway making the passes that needed to be made and sacrificed his body running for HARD yards and took a vicious hit on the 2 yard line in OT. He just refused to lose and this is legendary stuff we're watching. If it weren't for the rib injury I think he would be in the MVP conversation...as a rookie.

Caleb just has to get the mental part of the game down. He has the physical tools just like Daniels. The difference is Jayden came into the league NFL-ready from a maturity/mental standpoint. With the beating Daniels took tonight and all of the pressure on his shoulders his demeanor never changed. He's always calm and cool and that kind of leadership filters down to his team. You don't see that with Caleb. He's always angry, pouting, motioning demonstrably to his teammates in frustration and hasn't handled the pressure well at all. He'll hopefully develop that in Year 2.

If the offensive line didn't have those critical penalties. This game shouldn't have been this close. It's ine thing they aren't good at blocking. At least don't get penalties. Especially at critically times. In this game. It cost them at least 10 points. And then that drop by 14 during the last drive in the 4th quarter. That could have easily kept the drive alive and in very short fg range. Daniels has to do extra because of all that mess they cause.

@ Bro the first Ertz TD is in the video. Go to 2:06. Ertz had two TD receptions in this game & Olamide had 1. That’s a total of 3 passing TDs.
First one had us up 7-0, we then fell behind 17-7 & Ertz caught a TD making it 14-17 & then the third & last one was the OT touchdown to Ertz.
