Canonically Hermione never obliviates her parents since “Obliviate” is a permanent spell, in the books which are from Harry’s perspective, he was never there so we never knew which spell she used and she did not erase their memories she modified them to make them think they were other people. The movies made it seem more dramatic, also it’s canon she fixed her parents memories after the battle.
Lets be honest.. the '' are you ok freddie'' will hurt us to the core no matter how many times we hear it
draco’s “or he’s gonna kill me” makes me cry everytime. it really shows that he had no choices in his life!

When you know the context behind it, it really is sad. But to someone who never read the books, it won’t mean much. Just a man mistaking his godson’s name because he looks like his dad. But for those of us who have read the books, it meant a whole lot more than that.

Yeah the reason why they muted it, was because Daniel Radcliffe actually lost his grandmother a week before filming, so the scream was real, and Emma Watson and Helena Carter actually started to cry. And the director didn’t feel comfortable putting it in the movie.

Apparently it was muted because Dan Ratcliffes grandmother had died the very same day when they shooted this scene, so it was dan actually screaming

Okay I have to say that it's simply disgusting how people just ignore the trauma that the main character, Harry himself went through. Having a link in your head to a sadistic Dark Lord torturing you day and night with visions, being tortured for real by the same person, being thrust as a leader of a war at 17, watching the person you considered 'a father, brother and friend all in one' die in front of you must be a walk in the park right?!?!

Jeff Rawle really beautifully portrayed a father overwhelmed with grief in the moment. That moment where he sits up and holds on to Dumbledore, most other actors would cling to the dead Cedric, but he really looked like a real father just so overwhelmed he didn't know what to do with himself.

I feel like everyones first time reading the books, they were BREAKING DOWN SOBBING when they read when Harry was going into the forest to meet his end. And everyone Harry thought he was going to die but didn’t. Even though I knew there were still more books to the series in the 4th, 5th, and even 6th book. I still thought Harry was about to meet his end. When you get attached to someone so much, you can’t help be worry way to much. Even now I still cry reading the seventh book when he’s going to meet his death, because just THINKING he could of died, and seeing the reaction of his friends and people who he considers his family, their reactions hurt me the most.
Sometimes for me it’s not losing the loved one necessarily, but the reaction of everyone around you, even if you weren’t close to them, the reaction makes me cry every time.
Anyways that was my rant for the day
Harry going into the forest was SUCH an unbelievable moment. When he told Ron and hermione too and they had to let him go in the film 🥺 god these films break me 😂
@@KatieWootton for me the books were so much worse, the fact that he wasn’t even saying goodbye, the only person he told was Neville so there was another backup to finish the job, he passed Ginny but didn’t say anything to her, he had to force himself to go save them all. He was trying to stall death a little longer, but knew in the end he would have to die for everyone else he’s knows and loves to be happy, to be free. Anyways that’s just a little bit of why I love/hate that part because it always makes me cry no matter how many times I’ve read it and know he doesn’t die

Ron saying he didn’t want to hear Fred/George’s name on the radio and then the “you okay Freddie?” Got me crying. I don’t remember which one actually died but that’s the saddest death to me. Never fully read the books but I know what happens and I’ve seen the movies. My sister has read the books a million times and has told me in great detail what happens.
I think this was one of the rare moments where the on screen portrayal does it justice
All the most painful ones for me come when Snape talks to Dumbledore about Lilly in the memory Harry sees in the last movie. Painful and iconic scene

And Remus telling Tonks she wasn't meant to be there, the heartbreak in his voice mixed with the joy of seeing her in what they both knew could be their last moments
