Big version of the final photo: botvidsson.se
Awesome ❤
The water dripping from the bottles is what makes this shot.. it's easy to take the sprays and adjust their position and shape in Photoshop, but getting the water to cascade down the bottles the way the final image demonstrates would be very difficult to accomplish in Photoshop. Bra gjort!
Tack! Yes we took many many photos to get everything the way we wanted.
"What would I like to see?"
I photograph older and rare chandeliers, ceiling lamps, wall lamps and table lamps for an online shop in 6 different views. Often they are larger and shiny lamps.
My difficulty is finding a compromise between time expenditure and requirements. These are: 1 isolated photo when switched on, 2 further views with, 1 without light in front of a background onto which the light falls, and 2 detailed photos. Unfortunately, there is no one online who photographs larger things of this kind. The stated aim is to show the special nature of the design, to show the material and the scattering of light. Ideally, everything should not be too objective but emotional. I have to photograph around 1000 lamps in a short space of time, so I have to make compromises.
Can you please photograph a really expensive lamp (e.g. with crystal glass) with 6 photos?
That would certainly be a big but great challenge.
Sounds very tuff. I would love to do that, always love a challenge but the tricky part is to get my hands on that kind of product. Any lamp store owners here? Please contact me for free kick ass photos.
Great idea. I got beer images on production, a kind of beer-in-disguise silicon cases. Gonna make some splashes for the last image on that series with no regrets. I prefer coffee.😂
Sounds great! Good luck!
Great vid as usual, Martin! 🙂.. used to really enjoy some of your more complex setups back in the day .. and trying to work out how the light was bouncing around (generally unsuccessfully! 😁) .. and the choice of palette colors ..
Cool, thanks man.
Hi ,Martin, thanks for the great video. may i have your studio add again, i will definitely send some coffees tomorrow , you haven't shoot the coffee bags lol
Hehe, thanks my friend! You don't have to send, I'm very happy with your long support.
But... if you really insist 😁

Hi Martin
Love latest video!
Please tell me about your monitor/tv behind? Which model gives good colour? Did you set the colour on the tv?
I need this so clients can view 15 metres away from my set.
Thanks Elizabeth. It's a very old LG TV 50". Have not been able to calibrate the TV but I spend a lot of time to manually dial in a nice "look". The best is probably to get a modern big monitor/TV that you can calibrate, but at the same time I don't think it's super important to have perfect colors for this big preview.
@@botvidsson hi Martin, i have sent the coffees today and forwarded the tracking no to your work email address , looking forward to seeing your version of coffee products. :)
Hi Martin, great video, as always! Would love to see a beer pouring shot.
Thanks! A still or a video shot?
Still would be great!
@@gutoseixas Will ad that to the list. Maybe
I am honored you even considered it. Cheers!
@@gutoseixas of course man
very nice
🙏🏻
Thanks you Martin. I would to know by what type of photo begin? Something very simple without any water (because of living room) and with not big props (to not occupy many of space).
Do you have any idea which type of basic photo with very nice "product photography effect"?
Sorry I do not understand. Please tell me more.
@@botvidsson Martin, you ask to know what we would to see in next videos.
My question is: what photography to do at beginning. Something simple without big lights, and many of flash.
What we can do only with one flash and may be one diffuser?
Also can you can talk about your path of learning? How did you begin to do product photography?
Excuse me my English.
@@marek_vanco_photo Thanks, I will add this to my todo-video-list
Wonderful ty!
👍🏼😃
Good evening )
