This is the first time ever I hear somebody has to do this. I own two Pelikan M 150, both of them I bought in 1988, none of them ever needed any maintance whatsoever, apart from a water flush when changing ink coulours. I am sitting here flabberghasted newer pens do need this kind of customer involvement. I was considering buying a new pen for myself, just for the fun of it, but now I am happy with what I have. The Pelikan M 150 was the cheapest in their line and yet over thirty years later, they seem to be of so much better quality than what is sold now. This is disturbing!
This information was helpful. Do you have a video that shows how to grease the Twisbi Eco? I've seen the one that shows how to take it apart but doesn't show what parts exactly need greased which would be helpful.
quick question I can't seem to find an answer to. I just re-greased my Twsbi Eco and I can see a small layer of grease on the wall of the pen. I got to wondering, how does this effect the ink? Thanks !
Maybe there was a video explaining this already, but what were those two things Brian flipped over at the start of the video? They were mesmerizing and I would like one for my desk! Lol
Not sure about the watch grease you mentioned, but Brian does mention 'plummer's grease' as a good alternative in a previous Q&A: ruclips.net/video/z0iipl844Qo/видео.htmlm17s - Colin
Can you use the silicone grease that comes with the TWSBI ECO to grease the threads of a converter? I think that the TWSBI product is silicon oil, but to grease a converter you need grease, which is thicker.

Buy from these guys! I do and love their service. Thanks for excellent customer service.
I need one of those funky hourglass timers and I need it now. Here, take my money.
What solves the problem of getting ink behind the piston? Is it more grease, or a new seal?

It's called an Ooze-tube, and you should be able to find them on Amazon! - Colin
Apart from the silicone grease sold in your store, are there any alternatives? Can silicone grease for waterproof watch be used?

Maybe a strange question, but do you need to grease piston filler converters?
It certainly doesn't hurt, but usually only if you notice resistance is it necessary. - Colin
Thank you for the very fast answer.
The Goulet Pen Company Just wondering...could I just use the Silicon grease that I usually I use to my nitecore flashlight? Will it be OK?

I have gone without greasing my pelikan for 7 years. As I simply didn’t know I needed to. It was just fine with all the abuse. I finally did it…
Can the piston of a piston filler pen be washed with soap?
