@@AndersNotion Did you push the card all the way in so that the little button comes out where the card socket is? (mpc1000) Have you used other cards on your machine before? What machine are you using? YOU CAN TRY... copy all folders to your computer. put card back into the sampler, reformat the card in the mpc. put card back into the computer, copy the folders back onto the card, put card back into sampler.

What to do if a sampler don't read CF card?
Try using a card reader adapter on a computer to read the sounds
@AbsurdTV1 Computer reads my card, but the sampler (akai mpc 1000) doesn't

What type of cards are they? I bought a cf converter type 1 and doesn't seem to fit my 1000

Is the black ejection supposed to be stiff? Or not really move? I got a used MPC and before I get CF card I wanted to ask around. Thanks.
Yes. They only move when a cf card is in there.
