I love your channel! Would you be willing to do a series on traditional English cuisine? I know that many of your viewers outside of the UK would greatly try to understand them!
Neither my husband nor I have ever had curry before, but your past videos have inspired us! I'm just using a jar of sauce & some chicken thighs, so I hope it turns out ok! :)
@Jennie Porter, I've never had curry either so I'm curious how yours came out? Is it spicy? I know they make different strengths of curry powder but if I do decide to make it I'd definitely go the jarred sauce route as you did. Barry's videos have me intrigued, too 😀
@@brandyfreeman4098 I tried it tonight and it was really good! I used Patak's butter chicken curry sauce and chicken thighs because I had them on hand. I grilled them then cut them into chunks and sauteed with the sauce. I don't like spicy and this was very mild. Tomato-ey & paprika-ey 😂 Served over rice, very yummy! 😁
@@jporter9744 , thank you so much for reporting back 😉. I'm definitely going to give it a try now. Between Barry's videos & your description my mouth is seriously watering! Happy Holidays!
Here's a 3-ingredient smoothie recipe for you, inspired by Black Forest cake: Milk + Frozen Cherries + Chocolate Syrup/Chocolate Sauce And yes, for chocolate mousse, the most you need is a serving that's around 60-120ml (2-4 fluid ounces in the States).
Easy: Use Tofu instead of beef, a vegetable mix instead of the minced pork, plant milk instead of milk, and vegan cream instead of the eggs and the cream. Might be a lot healthier too...
This all looks so delicious 😋…I would tweak the mousse, by adding some orange zest or fresh squeezed orange juice into or on top of to add another depth of flavor to it.
That hotpot seemed a little bit too wet, definitely would try adding something to firm it up a bit. Great ideas though, love the pork wraps, definitely going to try them.
Why don't you try a slightly different way of wording this series to allow for an extra ingredient. "4 ingredients in 3 recipes to try once in your life" could make so many more recipes. 😁

5 4 ingredient recipes you are 3 2 try 1 time in your life
hey Barry! love your content been a sub for quite some time now. I grew up in a small village in Russia and the thing i remember the most is a dish my Gran called Seamans pasta. 3 ingredients (besides salt n pepper) pasta, minced pork and onion. i havent found the historic recipe, so i believe its something my gran made up. slice the onions into 1-2 cm strips and throw it on the pan with the mince and seasoning. the trick is not stirring as much as you would think so you get nice big chunks of meat (roughly 2 cubic centimetres) and not to overcook it. the pasta should be boiling by the time the meat and onions have sweated out. put 2 tablespoons of pastawater into the pan pr 500gr of mince and stirr around.. drain the pasta and combine everything together.. when i went to engeneering school i basically lived off that for 4 years. still a hit on a busy day!
Those look amazing,I was readi g your pinned comment and it was hilarious you were talking and saying the words in the comment almost as I was reading g them. 😊😉
I make waffles in a waffle iron and use 1 ripe banana, 1 cup of plant milk and 1 cup of porridge oats all whizzed up in a high speed blender and then leaving the mixture to stand for five or so minutes while the waffle iron heats up. My waffle iron takes about 8 - 10 minutes for four Belgian waffles.
if you slice and freeze the banana before making the smoothie it will help chill and thicken the mixture. Too much frozen banana will lead to the mixture having an ice cream-like texture instead of a smoothie consistency.
My mom has a chocolate moose recipe that is amazing and 4 ingredients and feeds a lot of people too. Here is the secret 1 tub of chocolate Ice cream softened I bottle of cream one box of instant chocolate pudding and one flake. Whip the cream to stiff then fold everything together then you can put it back in the ice cream tub crumble the flake on top and you can store it in the fridge to eat the next day or you can freeze it if you are making it in advance. And yes you can change the flavour of the ice cream and pudding and make almost any kind of moose
My favourite pulled pork is a 3 ingredients one: 2 kilo pork shoulder, a bottle or half of BBQ sauce and 1 tin of tomatoes, add meat, cover with tomatoes and bbq sauce, a Dutch oven, put into the oven at 100 c for 11 hours, it done when the meat is 95 C.
Something I think could be a good idea, similar to this is where you take a small amount of ingredients, like the 12 total you use in these videos, and make a couple dishes but you're able to use all the ingredients across the dishes, sort of a way of lowering food waste and getting more bang for your buck
No they’re not however, it’s relatively low risk that a healthy individual will get salmonella from eggs today in the UK. Obviously you’re free to decide that risk factor for yourself and you can always pasteurise your egg whites before incorporating them into the chocolate (or anything else for that matter).
I mean there’s lots of recipes that call for raw egg, most eggs today (at least in the UK) are relatively safe to consume raw for most people. But I agree there’s still an inherent risk. I love Italian meringue but obviously I take a risk every time I consume it. You can technically pasteurise your egg whites in the microwave though I’ve never tried it since I don’t really buy eggs anyway.
Haha think barry had some coffee before this lol only kidding love the energy and enthusiasm, definately want to know how it tastes :) best part :) But sorry that woooo could get old very quick just my opinion lol
Just wanted to point out that it might have been easier (and worked better) to fold the egg whites into the chocolate mix a little at a time rather than the other way around.

You could've dipped a brush into the tin to use up the rest of the sauce on the potatoes before rinsing it out.
Love the new rap outro, Barry!! You write that, yourself??
We like a 3 ingredient pot pie using pie crust or crescent rolls with cream of chicken soup and mixed veggies.
You can't just change the section of the Outro Rap Barry! I feel betrayed!!! 😂🤣😂🤣
Hoisin sauce and plum sauce / duck sauce are two different things .
12:43 the most interesting part that we’re looking forward to, is the tasting and letting us know how it is. it was never awkward
Agree
It's what brings the whole video together, especially the way he explains how it tastes. Mmmm
Loving the new credits rap song! Of course I liked the old one but it's nice to have a change sometimes.
It threw me off for a second but I like it too!
i prefer the old one tbh
Same song I think, just different verses.
Just thinking “gosh I’m bored I need something to do” and up comes the notification for your video! Best hospital entertainment!!
Thanks Alex, take care
Hope you are OK. I agree, Barry's videos are always a great solution to boredom
@Alex Davis Hope you feel better Alex 🙏🙏🙏
The eating it at the end part is the MOST important part for me. I want to enjoy it vicariously :)

I can't stop thinking of mousse flavor options now. Ginger lime white chocolate. Cherry espresso dark chocolate 😋 Great vid!
We need an After Eight mousse !!!

Happy to see this man still going first started watching him when i was 14
