I know Lincoln has been a blessing to my life and my family's. He is proof that you don't have to put up your guitar to make Christian music, and make awesome music too. Think of the many young kids and even old rock heads like myself that he has turned to God because of his music. He is truly a blessing.

This a great testimony for the Lord;and as I still await my musical plans from the Lord;this was a great blessing for my heart.

And his answer to 'how to get involved in Christian music' I think was brilliant. Today's artists seem more geared towards 'generating music' (as LB noted) instead of answering a call. The same thing happens in all fields of Christian service -- answer the call, don't manufacture a ministry. (Isaiah 6)

Linc actually met the WORLDS top musicians when he was a late teenager, i know, i was there; Terry Bozzio, Edward Van Halen, Alex Van Halen (went to the compound)!
Lincoln always had the attracting Spirit God on him before he committed his life to Christ. When he says make sure of your calling, he is telling the truth.

The frequent "I don't know" club. I'll take a shot at it. Seems to me that the disasters around the world are simply the fallout from sin, and it's horrific. It's a fallen, decimated by sin, world. And it points constantly to the dire need we have for Jesus and His atonement on the cross. What happens when sin enters in? Death.
